The food is great but the wait staff just laze around and about the worst I saw in Bangkok. The price of food is moderately expensive. The cheesecake is to die for.

This 2-storey eatery modeled its decor as per Breakfast at Tiffany and Audrey is therefore for Audrey Hepburn. Have heard a lot about the place, both good and bad and finally went there for lunch on the last day of Songkran holidays. Luckily for us, the place wasn't as packed as expected, however, when we left at around 1:30 pm, there was a line waiting for tables. The tables are set quite close to one another. We had the famous Pork Cubes which are basically fried pork knuckles cut into cube shape. It was crispy and delicious but a couple of them were loaded with fat; the mashed yam on the side was fabulous. The parma ham mini pizza was a standout, cruchy and tasty. The pate with truffle oil hit the right spot, the toasts served were crisp with a hint of sweetness. Loved it. The chicken wings and fried calamari were fine but more run of the mill stuff. The BBQ baby ribs were tender but they weren't actually baby ribs, they were huge and a touch more BBQ flavor would make it more unforgettable. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it. The most blend dish was the angel hair pasta with crispy pork etc. It was fairly dry and blend. All in all, this is a place we'll come back to again, the menu is huge and there are lots of dishes we want to try too. We would certainly stay away from going there at the busiest hours. Last but not the least, service were just o.k. and it is true that the servers didn't smile, maybe they were just too busy.......

I was apprehensive about going to Audrey for my daughter's birthday dinner because of a fear of style over substance. I went online and found out the restaurant was considered a place to be seen and not necessarily a great choice for fine dining.

Audrey is situated at the end of Soi Thong Lo 11. There are not many restaurants in this lane which makes the area not that badly crowded. It is a brightly lit place with a large, shared parking lot nearby. I would consider Audrey's location to be among the better ones in the congested Thong Lo area.

The restaurant has strikingly attractive interiors, designed like a French bistro. Striped wallpaper, Parisian prints and copper kitchenware decorations complete the look. It also has lovely table settings and flower arrangements. It is something like if you want into an interior design magazine.

The main dishes, for me, were hit and miss. All were beautifully presented. My rice with cow cheeks was below average, the beef being too tough. The same meat used in the 5-hour braised dish was far better, with delicious gravy. The souffle was good, as was other Thai dishes we had like the Lap scrambled egg.

Desserts are the highlights of this place, with an abundance of scones, waffles and cheesecakes. Every plate was of a big size and was really tasty. I think Audrey is a great option for coffee/tea and sweets than a full-on French or Thai dinner engagement.
