“Worth a visit for first timer”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

This is definitely a beautiful place, a must-see attraction specially for those who are interested in Bangkok's history. The ticket price is expensive (500BHT/person) but well worth it if you're first time in BKK. However the place is usually crowded with tourists, it's kind of difficult to get a picture of yourself alone with the temples. Recommend to use sunscreen a bring a lot of water for this trip here.

“Too crowded”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

The day we went was free for locals so it was probably a bit crazier than usual but it was absolutely packed. So busy that you could not move. So it was a bit of a disaster. We may have had a different experience had we gone on a different day. We hardly got to see anything through the crowds and could not wait to get out. What we saw was lovely though.

“Definitely worth an afternoon visiting the Grand Palace”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

I highly recommend visiting the Grand Palace. Spent an afternoon there in late April. Although a bit crowded, the photo op's were plentiful.

One tip: pay no mind to the scamming tuk tuk drivers hanging around the perimeter who try to tell you that the GP is closed.

“Really Grand Palace”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

The ticket is expensive, but everything there is really big and beautiful. If you are not a "temple" person, Suggest you to visit Grand Palace and Wat Pho and it's enough. All others will be the same!

Awesome sight. Photographers may love this place totally. Remember NOT to wear anything revealing. Not even shorts were allowed.
