If you get the chance to have a visit here, get ready for some steep climbs up and then down. The walls around the temple are all intricately decorated with a variety of colours, features and textures.

There are monumnets and buddhas inside a lower building with a lovely garden layout on the river bank. Worth a boat ride up and around Bangkok to get to the temple and arrive from the river.

Beautiful temple of Dawn on the other side of the Chao Phraya River. You can go there with local boat from public boat pier nr 8.

The temple is located on the opposite bank of Wat Pho and is the temple dedicated to sun god. A good view of Bangkok city from the top of the temple but the last flight of stairs to the top is very steep. The idols of Indra, the king of gods sitting on airavat, an elephant is clearly visible on the top whereas on the side pillars the idol of sun god is located. Worth visiting .

if you in bkk dont miss this one. its an awesome structure 20 floors tall made of stone. best time to go would be early morning and late afternoon coz the place can get v hot in the day. you have some climbing to do here but the effort is worth it coz of the bkk views that you get from the top.
if you take a boat with the orange flag which is the public boat from any of the piers on the chaophya river it would take 20 minutes to reach. the road takes longer due to the traffic and you got to cross the river since the temple is on the other side of the river.

You can climb the steep steps of the temple for breathtaking views of Bangkok. Very interesting architecture and sculptures. Worth a visit.
