Absolutely stunning temple and an amazing contrast to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Different style of architecture, different period, different experience all the way around. You can climb most of the way up the time spire, but the stairs are steep (almost like a ladder near the top), so definitely not for the fainthearted.

What a beautiful place. To think that this was built without benefit of cranes or mechanical equipment defies logic. The craftsmen who worked here were truly masters. Decorated almost entirely in porcelain. The climb up the stairs to the top is a good one, but not for the faint of heart, as they are very steep. However, there is a goo handrail to help you. The views from the top are spectacular, at least on a clear day.

Very impressive as you approach from the river. It takes about an hour at most to visit the site.

It's really too bad about the damage done by pollution, as you can easily scrape the soot of the whitewash with you finger.

Well worth a visit to this historical and religious site.

Worth the climb for the views at the top. Stairs are really steep and tiny.
Pay a tiny fee of 3baht to get to the other side to see Wat Pho.
Got a little lost about how to return to the BTS. Apparently, return boat trips are based on schedules timings placed near the piers.
