Thank you Dermot for you help. The food was great . Great improvement from two weeks ago where we waited forty mins. What a great location. I can not believe they build this place in 6 weeks , a credit to the owners .

“Changed for the worse”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

I had been visiting the 'old' Dubliner at least once a month for the last 6 years. This last weekend i thought i would check the new one out. in short it has gone downhill and fast.

The food was one of the main draws of the old place, on this visit i managed two bites of a cold/ bland burger and left it- I am not a fussy eater. The TV was switched on to some very loud channel showing sectarian killings and news clips from 10 years ago. The guys who used to get off their face wasted and talk at 100 decibels out the back of the old place are now firmly set in the middle of the bar inside.

Go for beers, go to get drunk. Nothing else.

Manger was a nice guy.

“A Shadow of its previous self”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Went to Dubliner last night in its new location on Soi 33/1. It gets a three review because I love the Irish Pub Decor, but compared to what it used to be its a shadow of its self. The same band there from two years back singing well known songs pretty badly. Maxiumum of 25 people on a Friday night. Still good to take the family though, food has become tasteless I go there for the Crusty top pies and the shepherds pies but had no real taste at all last night. Whilst the bar staff basked in cool aircon the punters were definately sweating a bit in the main bar area. Lets get some younger groups in there again guys and get the food tasting like it used to.

“Christmas at the Dubliner”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you to Paul, the manager at the Dubliner, for making our Christmas in Bangkok very special. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Christmas Day and felt very much 'at home'.
Wishing Paul and all the staff every success with the Dubliner in it's new Premises.
Regards
Elaine and Brian

“Great new premesis - great opening night”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

The opening night was great. I liked the showing of the "Reeling in the Years" documentary in the background and the 3 bands were excellent. Haven't tried the food yet but the menu looks very good. This is a proper Irish pub. Will definitely be back soon.
