First of all - the kindness and professionalism of the personnel is outstanding!
Mr. Witt, the reception manager, Ms. Poo and Ms. June at the restaurant were extremely professional, friendly and helpful.

I honestly don't know where to start praising the staff and the hotel....the rooms are big, modern, clean...beds are extremely comfy...the food is excellent (try their Phad Thai!)....
One night we came back to the hotel after 22.30 and the kitchen was closed. Waitress went outside on her moped and brought us a dinner!

The other day, a taxi brought us to the wrong address. We called the reception and Mr. Wit asked us to pass the phone to any pedestrian so that he asks them to show us the right way!
He called back to see whether we reached the desired address!

You simply feel taken care of in this elegant hotel.

The second day, the sink in the bathroom got stuck.
After we came back from breakfast - it was already repaired!

There is a beautiful terrace & a swimming pool right next to Chaopraya river. One can easily spend an entire vacation in this hotel.

The restaurant served delicious Thai food (at average Thai-prices).

The reception will organize any kind of sightseeing tours or transfers, from regular "meter taxi" to hotel's own car transfers.

A tip: The fastest way to get to Sauvarnabhumi airport in rush-hours is to take a taxi from the hotel to the Makkasan train station - City Air Terminal to hop on the Direct Express Train (where you can check-in your luggage for your flight) and it takes only 15 minutes to/from the airport.

Room Tip: Try booking a river-view room, since the street-side faces a lot of nice cafes with loud music till...

In the hectic city of Bangkok this hotel is an oasis of calm. Its well located for the Grand Palace etc and next to the river. Also very close to Khao San (backpacker bar central) which is a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes. Our room was clean and a good size. The hotel facilities are good and we barely ever saw any other guests. Staff are very friendly and not in a 'looking for a top' kind of way.

We had the chance to stay at this newly opened boutique hotel and our expectations were exceeded in every way. I am a seasoned traveller and therefore manage my expectations in that frequently, what's talked about isn't the reality. Given the very reasonable price of this hotel I was immediately impressed with the high quality decor and linen in the room. The view was stunning overlooking the river and the theme throughout the hotel captured the rustic Thai elegance with a blend of European taste. The staff were incredibly friendly and no request was a problem. The pool is a really nice touch and all amenities were spotless. The professionalism of the management was very visible throughout the stay. The hotel is located in a very central area so walking and soaking in the atmosphere was terrific. The food was also very good value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Very nice boutique hotel with a sorta funky-crossed-with-heritage design and decor. Location is tough to beat...right on the Chao Praya, 100m from Pier 13 and all the river taxis. Also an easy walk to Khao San road. The pool and bar area are very cool and were a great spot for a drink after sight-seeing. My "Urban" room was good-sized with a comfortable bed and good overall layout.

Downsides are road-side rooms are noisy, especially when there's live music in the bars across the street. Also, my room (415) was also on the end of the hotel block and had a row of low windows which were only treated with wooden shades. The shades looked very cool but were very poor at blocking the morning sun - I'd recommend eye-shades if you're awakened by the light.

Overall a very good hotel, however.

A great new hotel in an excellent location by the river. We booked the hotel's limo service to collect us after a 16 hour flight, it was on time, had cool spring water for us all and was expertly driven. We booked the premium river suite, and to be honest were a little disappointed. I would not waste my money again, I would just get a river view room and have done with the extra space and chaise lounge. All river rooms have a great view but the corner river room will give you a great balcony and view of the river. Friendly staff, a great pool which is lit up lovely at night. It was always a joy to get back there and sit on the windy deck after having a splash. We stayed a night longer than we originally booked and had to vacate our suite and move into an urban room. The room was beautiful but the noise was too much for me. Luckily the music from the bars below in the street finished at 12 but the traffic is whizzing by all night. Overall a nice hotel worthy of a 4 star rating.

This is a fantastic choice if you want to a) be near the action, b) avoid staying on Th. Khao San and c) avoid draining your wallet. The hotel is modern and well-equipped, ideally situated and has the most friendly staff imaginable. The pool on the riverside is ideal for unwinding at the end of a long, hot day. The only drawback is that no taxi driver seems to know either the hotel or the road, but this should change over time.
