The Ari area is growing in popularity for those in search of reasonably priced but interesting eating experiences. Kitchen and more certainly full-fills those 2 objectives.
The restaurant is tucked away at the back of the shopping center opposite a car-wash Ari with a cute garden at the front with some seating. (an easy walk from the Ari bts station)
The food is an inspired variation of Thai, though the chef also has some western dishes (including a very good liver pate). Many of the Thai dishes move away from the everyday with the use of some wonderful sauces that add considerable depth to the flavours. Others are interesting twists on the usual like the deep-fried larb on slices of zucchini.
The prices are very reasonable and the wine list, although limited is also very well-priced.
Added to the wonderful food is the polite and attentive service and funky decoration - I will certainly be coming back again.

Over the past year, I have found myself more and more in the Ari area - it really has some great restaurants. And Kitchen and More ... is one of them. Probably, my favourite.

As soon as I walked in I had a smile on my face. The restaurant, which is located in a carpark next to Villa Supermarket, is decorated in the most eclectic style. It looks like the owner has raided his grandmother's attic and used her treasure as the basis of the decor. And when I say grandmother, I mean a real funky grannie who had a great eye! The chairs don't match, the tables don't match, and funky kitsch is everywhere. And yet, it all looks great and creates a comfortable and stylish space.

First impressions aside, let's get to the food. The menu is creative combining Thai ingredients with a more western style. It is evident that the chef is well trained in both European and Thai cuisnes. Everything we ate was superb. The laab burgers served on aubergine are genius. As is the chicken in tamarind - it is a perfect combination of sweet, and sour and has a stickiness that just makes it fun to eat! He also does a pate, which is more like a mousse, and is light and flavourful.

Kitchen and more offers an OK wine tlist, but what is noticeable is how reaosnable the wines are priced. Such a pleasant surprise in the wine price gouging capital of Asia!

Service is friendly and professional. Out waiter was happy to offere suggestions, all of them great.

This is a terrific restaurant, one I will go back to again and again.

We have been to this restaurant four times since moving back to Bangkok, each visit building on the previous. The food is a Thai expression of classic international cuisine prepared by a Thai chef who trained at the London Cordon Bleu. His attention to detail in using classic Thai ingredients to reinvent favorites display his passion and craft. We will continue to enjoy Chef Pom's food regularly. Priced very reasonably.
