This hotel was close to the Impact and very reasonably priced. It seemed clean when I checked in and appears to be a family run operation. I was in for three nights and was gone for most of the time.
Unfortunately, I don't speak Thai which made it difficult to communicate that the refrigerator and the hot water didn't work, nor that the maid didn't clean the room on the third night of my stay. There wasn't an English speaker around anywhere, which is not untypical for Thailand but still a bit frustrating for problem solving.
I wouldn't stay there again, but it served its purpose. I did wish that I had some opportunity to negotiate a discount for the lack of a hot shower. After 16 hours of travel to get to Bangkok, I was sorely disappointed.
Taxi drivers got lost repeatedly trying to find it, even with the hotel directions.More
