“A must visit place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2014

The different designs of the buildings inside the palace walls were by far the best seen in four months of travel. The paintings and murals which line the walls in the walkways are fascinating and could be studied for months and you would still find something different when you looked again. Listen to the announcements about dress and touts before you visit, best to cover arms and legs then you will be all sorted. The Emerald Buddha was ok but the buildings and paintings did it for me.

“Beautiful Buddha”

So much gold in its architecture! You could see it glisten and glitter when the sun beamed. The temple was beautiful.

“Must see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Definitely a must see. I have seen better temples around Thailand but this Temple is iconic and is a must for your trip. I also find the entrance fee to be overpriced at about 500 baht per person. But the architecture of the temple is worth you seeing.

“Worth the Stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

Not to be gauche, but the emerald Buddha was not enormous. I guess we expected something more startling given some of the other temples visited the same day. But the temple was lovely and it was definitely worth the stop.
