This is the longest Reclining Buddha image of the world - awesome. Brilliant mother of pearl work on the feet of the image. The temple complex is huge with a number of temples with splendid architecture. Serene ambiance.

This is one of the nicest temples in Bangkok, an absolute must and not too crowded most of the time. No question that anyone visiting Bangkok should see this amazing temple. Admission 100B and you receive a small bottle of cold drinking water as well, very worthwhile. You don't need too much time to visit as there is only one smaller temple housing the Buddha.

The Reclining Buddha is definitely something to see, but too commercial now and the staff there aren't very helpful probably down to the hundreds of people they have to deal with on a daily basis.

... to walk into a temple and see a massive reclining Buddha which barely fits into the space its held in! its just a surreal sight, I had to actually turn around, and come back in just to be able to take it all in, this is an amazing place... Bought a handful of coins in the end and dropped it into the 100 copper pots at the side of the building..

dont forget to take a good look at the soles of the feet.. also the best photo angle is from here get the toes in the photo

There is not much to see beside the Buddha statue, but it is still an impressive thing. Worth visiting while you are in Bangkok.
