A must visit together with The Grand Palace which is 10 minutes walk from the temple. Very relaxed place, less touristic then the Grand Palace. Can find very calm places inside. Has a traditional Thai massage school inside, so you can even get a massage yourself.

There is a huge reclining buddha at Wat Pho. We went to Wat pho from Wat Arun by a public boat (costs just 4THB). Wat pho is pretty big, so we just roamed around the main temple. Entry Fees for Wat Pho (100 THB). Temple and surroundings were clean.
Please come in appropriate dress. Men are not allowed in shorts and vests. You might have to rent a separate clothing for that which costs extra. Women don't come in anything that's backless. Similar rules apply. Try this place on a cloudy day because it is very hot on a sunny day.

It’s been already many years ago that i visited this place but i was impressed by the size of this budha. In general asian culture spends a huge amount of money on their religions.

It a very crowded place, but hey you are in Bangkok. I think it’s definately worth to visit this place Nd would recommend over other temples.

Its quite confusing walking around and through the doors but I was amazed by the holy statues there. Will go to some other Temple in the future!

Walked here from the grand palace. Bring socks so you aren’t walking barefoot when you take off shoes to go inside. Very impressive. Go to thee massage school if you have time.

My husband and I hit up the 4 major temples with our short time in Bangkok! The reclining Buddha was definitely our favorite!! If you don’t have time for all of them, make sure this one is at the top of your list! Make sure that your knees and shoulders are covered for both men and women. They do not have clothes or covers for you to borrow or rent.
