Very nice temple with lots to see and take in! Cheap entrance fee that came with a free water. Almost maze like getting around!

A leisurely twenty minute walk around from the main entrance of the Grand Palace will bring you to this temple. Not very easy considering how hot Bangkok is during the daytime, but the pay off for that effort is just priceless. 100 Baht takes you in to the temple. The structure that houses the reclining Buddha itself is just big enough to house the entire length of the image, but one can see the detail of ornamentation that has been laid on it from floor to ceiling, as well as the murals on the walls and the Budda's feet made of mother-of-pearl. This is a sight that has to be seen in person; no photo can do justice to the majesty of the Reclining Buddha.

You don't need much time here but it is a must see. Larger than I expected. Its nice to see all the people so respectful. You see many Buddha's in Thailand but this is special

Huge and magnificent, the Reclining Buddha is breathtaking site to see for first timers to Bangkok. The location of the temple is also very good because outside you can walk your way to different shops and rest in front of Chow Phraya River! I remember my first time here very well. Unforgettable experience! Your camera will go crazy!
