Owner description: Often referred to as the “marble temple” in guidebooks, this architectural gem features a magnificent Buddha image, which is a copy of the highly revered Phra Buddhajinaraja, and a beautiful beamed ceiling in a dark red and gold.

Constructed around 1900 with marble from Italy. No expense spared, and so an impressive, beautiful, colourful building, both inside and out.Well worth a visit.

I have yet to visit a Temple I did not like, unless it was closed. The architecture, color and smell of incense burning is always attractive. It is near several other Wats (Bangkok is covered in them) and other sights in the city. Nice place to visit and relax during the day.

if you like temples but want to avoid the crowds, this is one for you. It was very quiet when we visited, and was well worth the effort of getting there (20 minutes from centre by tuk tuk). The temple is not as large as others but is set in lovely grounds, with bridges and water features.

This temple is a bit simpler (if that's possible) but beautiful. When we visited it wasn't busy and we felt less rushed. The detail on the inside of the temple is overwhelming as with other temples. As many have said it is a peaceful place worth visiting.

I love it here and visit on every trip to Bangkok....I find it beautiful and so peaceful....however my boyfriend finds it holds his attention for a much shorter period...he was done after 5 minutes.
