Owner description: Often referred to as the “marble temple” in guidebooks, this architectural gem features a magnificent Buddha image, which is a copy of the highly revered Phra Buddhajinaraja, and a beautiful beamed ceiling in a dark red and gold.

The Marble Temple was just breath taking. The grounds were so beautiful and peaceful. The temple itself is wide open, with the sun shining in on the marble floors and walls. Statues of Buddha were displayed around the temple walls in different poses, with a story relating to each. It was a quiet place in the heart of bustling Bangkok. A great site!

This temple is so beautiful and there are less of tourist to visit. I think that suit for people who like to learn about historical and don't want to see the place where has a lot of visitor.

Compared to the busy grounds of the Grand Palace this is a nice quiet retreat - a little out of the busy spots in town. Again attention to detail and the many buddhas make this something to view while in town. The courtyard is very quiet compare to other spots

Having hiked all over Bangkok and seeing many fabulous tourist sites in one day, we finally came this small temple at the end of the day. This was my favorite temple of the visit. It was not crowded and had a quiet, peaceful feel to it. I enjoyed the beautiful courtyard in the back of the temple the most. Highly recommend it.

This temple was built by King Rama 5 more than 100 years old. Made of white marble from Carrara in Italy. The building is a crosshead. The four sides of the building has a metal gable roof on all sides overlap. Vishnu mounted on Garuda in front gable, front steps with Singh copy from the Angkor Wat. The top of the doors and windows are stained glass Thep Pa Nom in Thai style, windows is divided into three panels, different the other temples in Thailand.
Principal building is very beautiful and we are not just another church is no murals painting.
Around the galery, there are many different position of the Buddha Images, to learn a great deal. The temple looks very respectable.
******If you would like to take a special photos the beauty of this temple.
