“Try another hotel !”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

The only reason to go there was big discount offer - we should know there must be somthing behind it :)The hotel is simply too huge - it consist of at 3 separate towers which are only transit at floor 10 or eleven, you can get easily lost when you enter the hotel from different than main entrance. The room is spacious, but quite old and dirty on some places.Second morning we had a surprise of new guests standing in the middle of our room, because they were given the same room and reception. Our try to complain and even getting some compensation (haha) was totally pointless, because none of the stuff at reception didnt really speak english or any other than thai language....Wifi is not free in any parts of the hotel, and if you buy it, its very expensive. Breakfast was fine.Just for info - the big marketplace next to the hotel is not something you could buy any "nice replicas" :), its wholesale,so usually clothes you buy at each asian shop in your city..The location is also not close to anything,in walking distance is the river station, but for anything else you need to take Tuk Tuk or taxi and stay in the traffic jam for hours.. The swimming pool itself is nice, just the bar menu is overprised and stuff doesnt care a lot.. Also the pool close at 7pm, so forget any night relaxing swimming...Consider that Bangkok is really crowded, dirty and you will be smelling the "exhaust vapour" the whole day (this is another point - sometimes think about car rather, cause if you spend 3 hours in traffic jam breathing CO2, you might not feel good:), so at the end of the day you deserve a better hotel than this...

Got the three bedroom room - plently of space and well set out. It was clean and tidy upon arrival and remade to an impeccable condition every day. Staff at the reception were extremely helpful and polite. Its close proximity to the markets and being quite central was great. Definitely would stay there if we were to go to Bangkok again, 10/10!

We stayed here during June for a few days. On arrival we realised this was not the best location in bangkok. The surrounding area is markets and quite down market. We checked in at the reception on the 11th floor. It was a strange place to have it though that's the way it is. There was no welcome drink or information regarding the hostel. On the third day I found out they had a second pool which is bigger than the feature pool.
So we were shown to an old run town room which hadn't been stayed in for months which resembled a room out of the shining.
We chilled out for an hour or so till we found a cockroach. I tried to call reception and the phone cord broke in my hand. At 12am we agreed to move the following day and started to unwind again ready for bed. At around 12:30 while brushing my teeth I found another dead cockroach. We called up again and were moved to a new room. The following day we spoke with the manager who upgraded us to The presidents suite at no extra cost. This was great except there was only one power cable in the entire room.
The breakfast was below par. There was almost no vegetables to eat. I asked for some which eventually came. Then as I was finishing up a lady came round with a huge sign. The kind you see at boxing rings announcing you must cease eating
At 10am. This is unusual and inappropriate for four star guests.
Other drawbacks of which I oinly name a few.
The internet is not free when in your room. The price is exorbitant!
The spa and gym cost to use!
The pool bar has no happy hour and drinks are overpriced.
Often the staff outnumbered people at the pool by three to one.
The pool closes at 7 so you won't be able to enjoy and evening at the hotel pool. Your forced out.
Tue taxi services downstairs act like hyperactive kids trying to get your service. A normal 4 star service has a taxi queue.
The manages went out of their way to help and I give the tops marks form that .Unfortunately I can't recommend this place.

Room Tip: Stay in block A you might catch some free internet

Hotel is located over the shopping center (worth to visit) very close to "klong"- best solution for quick travelling in Bangkok. The room need a refreshment, but spacious- suit consist in small kichenette , bedroom and livingroom ( good solution for family). But remumber :Never eat in hotel restaurant- it is empty place with owfull meat, with pricelist from Mars.

Hotel was in a packadge and was oke, they try to help you where they can.
Rooms need some renovation but they are clean and big enough, nice pool on 11 e floor.
Water taxi nearby to go to center, not much to do in neighberhood , only market.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. location is okay, but would still need to catch a Tuk Tuk or Taxi to places. There is the Golden Mount and Wat Saket nearby waling distance though. Anywhere else is just too hot to walk to! The hotel is nice, rooms are big and clean, bathrooms okay but a bit dated. The pool area looks nice but didnt use it. Breakfast spread is good, the only downside is no free WiFi - an esseintial in this day and age! Apart from that no major faults.
