We spent one night at the Prince Palace Hotel - we arrive fairly late at night so did not get an opportunity to explore the local area much, but we were very impressed with this hotel. The hotel itself is huge, it is very easy to get lost as the hotel is spread across three towers with 30+ floors. There were lots of staff on hand who were very helpful. The room itself was very spacious clean and in very good condition - this hotel was excellent value for money, lovely views over Bangkok and lovely swimming pool area - would definately visit again

I have stayed here several times. The hotel does offer big rooms with comfortable beds, but small bathrooms. For the money good value.

However, the previously good breakfast now has little variety and the Thai dishes not as tasty or with as good ingredients as before. Sometimes there were no staff at the pools and doors were unmanned at times. It is also odd to be directed through a car park to the lift for our room!

The whole complex is a bit of a warren and there are stairs and variable levels everywhere, so not suitable for the mobility impaired.

The sky train is a distance away, so use the fast klong boat to take you too the shops in Prartunam in 10 minutes. Taxis from this hotel can take a while, but the trade off is that the room price makes up for this.

Room Tip: The one bedroom suites have a better view than the standard rooms and a loft more space for just a l...

We were very disapointed with this hotel. The room seemed that it was last updated in the 90s, the customer service was the worst we experienced in our two weeks in Thailand, and it felt unsafe to walk outside afterdark in this neighborhood. The hostel we'd stayed at in the beginning of our trip was better than this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great facilities, friendly staff. Great pool for the children. International buffet breakfast enjoyable. Not too far from Kao San road and Siam paragon and shopping centres. Tour desk not very informative.

For the money what we paid for the room it is good value. The room is big (with seperat bedroom) and bathroom but the furniture and carpet needs to be updated. There is a little kitchen which is good. One nice little detail was that we could watch some news from the Netherlands on the tv :-)

This is the second time we have stayed here. It did seem to have improved overall in the last year. The foyer and public areas are amazing. The rooms however are very basic. The hotel is surrounded by wholesale market stalls. This is the selling point for us. The prices on clothing here is the cheapest you will get in Thailand. If you are catching a taxi from outside the hotel make sure you get the driver to use the meter as it is much cheaper. If you are booking a tour from the tour desk inside the hotel you can negotiate a cheaper price.

We stayed here for our 1st time in bangkok. 2 night stay with our 3 children, youngest being 9 . As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly and directed straight to checkin YES on 11th floor but this is not inconvienant at all just into lift and up you go. Our bags were taken as soon as we arrived, and brought to our room.Quick check in and even though we were in tower b directions were simple and at each door there was someone there to open doors and very friendly. Room was 3 bedroom suite old and a bit tired but CLEAN and roomy. Our boys locked themselves out of their room so they called lobby and no problem up very quickly, only happy to help. There are two pools both fantastic and Clean , however main pool on 11th floor gets quite windy.
Shopping around hotel opens at 5 or 6 am and closures about 1 great bargains.
Tip food in hotel quiet expensive, I advise eat out. We didn't and cost way too much .
There is also at end of street a boat u can take, we did cost about 10bht , took it to MBk shopping mall ( 2 stops) and a short stroll. Excellent experience
All In all
Great hotel and, friendly staff
