I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 weeks. The hotel is close to skytrain staions but the rooms are a bit shabby. The reception staff will constantly try to get you to book outings and offer their taxi service (which is considerly more expensive than the taxis and Tuk Tuks). The breakfast was terrible. I had toast and fruit everyday because everything else tasted revolting. Our maid was fabulous and overall the hotel was a decent place to stay. Just don't stay for any long period of time.

Just back from a one week trip to Thailand and stayed at the Zenith with my 21 month old daughter. Rooms very nice and kept clean daily also the location was great. The sky pool was nice but just to many steps for my liking with a toddler. Staff very nice and also very helpful. A great hotel all round.

Spotless hotel in a great location of Bangkok with the skytrain station just a few minutes walk away. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, our room was not quite ready upon our early arrival so we got free drinks. Roof top pool was great to have after a day exploring althgough the water was a little cold and could have had a few more lights in it but the views made up for it. would recommend getting a airport transfer to and from the hotel , luxury car and very cheep to save all the hassel of public transport.Decent buffet breakfast in the downstairs resturant. Overall a great hotel just in the 4 star catorgary and well worth the rates which we got which were very good , would stay here again.

Completing my 9 day, three hotel trip, my Thai girl and I stayed at the Zenith for my last couple nights. Room was nice, buffet breakfast was pretty good, although one of the cooks making eggs snubbed my Thai girlfriend. But after talking to a supervisor, that got straightened out and didn't happen again. Location was good but you need to carry a hotel business card with you to show the taxi drivers where to take you to get back. Great internet access directly across the street from the hotel that is cheaper than using the hotel computers. No internet access in rooms. Staff very friendly.

This review is from a single male interested in sightseeing, shopping, nightclubbing and the ladies.

Location
----------
The location is superb, close to the sky train station at Nana, about 10-15 minutes walk. However, if you are American and not used to walking, you might want to consider something closer to the Nana train station, e.g. City Lodge, Ambassador, Amari, etc. It is close to all the action at Nana Disco, Go-go bars and Discos and Sumkhuvit shopping.

Staff and Facities
-------------------
The staff is very friendly, and they remember you, this will not be the case at large hotels such as Ambassador, where you are just one customer of hundreds. Everything is taken care of quickly including checkin, checkout, room issues, etc. The exercise room it is the best that i've seen, which includes 4-5 star hotels in America. I hear the pool is nice, but never got a chance to check it out. Free Breakfast is very good (eggs are made to order Embassy Suites style), however you get tired of bit in about a week, for comparisson purposes breakfast at Ambassor was terrible I went in one morning and did not eat, it looked awful, plus there were no tables available.

Room
-------
The Hemmingway Room had a safe, was clean but a bit dated, the tv was small and tv reception was off. Two free bottles of water every day. The Hemmingway room was very big, and there are only a few rooms per floor. Request a corner room if you are a single male for a more private room with a better view. Don't forget to ask for a double, otherwise you will be asked to pay a small fee when you bring in guests ($500baht every night).
Internet facilites in room were available but not working at the time.

Other
------
Booking trough a travel agent local or internet seems to be better than trying to book the hotel directly. I'd stay again for the size of hotel, location and staff friendliness.

The location is excellent and surrounded by the buzz of Bangkok. With a bit of a facelift, the rooms could very well be 4 or 5 star as most would have excellent views from the 15 or so levels, and are spacious with comfortable king-size bed and good sized, well functioning bathroom. Has all the services of a international hotel (including the 'generic' atmosphere) and a good buffet breakfast which is included. Overall, the hotel is a bit ragged round the edges, but very good value for money.
The only off-putting thing I found was the concierge (several of them + friends) who constantly assail with offers of cheap taxis or city tours when you are wandering out the door.

My daughter and I stayed at the Zenith hotel for 4 nights. Found it to be a pretty average standard hotel. The reception area was very bland and very uninviting looking , no atmosphere. staff were Ok. Our hotel room was bulk standard but a bit concerned when one of the electrical wall sockets was loose. Not very generous with bathroom towels for 2 people and tea & coffee supplies. A bit disconcerting that the bathroom tiles could do with new sealant. However, the roof top pool was great and you can see a good view of Bangkok. Basically, picked this hotel as it was within a few minutes walk of the BTS Skytrain service which was very convenient. The bedroom walls not very well sound-proofed as for a couple of nights we were kept awake by the room next door as they were talking very loudly and their TV was on loud. Breakfast buffett was fine although they couldn't give me green tea at breakfast instead of tea/coffee (the other hotels had no problem with this request.) Hotel didn't appear to be full and one evening when we took advantage of their free drink coupon at the bar, we found that we were the only ones in the bar (we quickly left after we consumed our drink!). Hotel convenient for the shops and Skytrain.
