I Spend 3 nights with my wife in Narai Hotel and I only can say: Excellent! Clean room, friendly service and very good breakfast. Sure I will stay at Narai next time! Absolutely recommended.

Narai Hotel is an excellent location, on Silom Road within good walking distance of the BTS and plenty of taxi's/tuk tuk's available.

Rooms are clean. AC and hot water work well. AC is not that cold, but it's decent/average for Thailand. Service was great. Food was pretty good.

However... the one MAJOR downside (which ruined it for us) was that the internet DOES NOT work. It works in the lobby fine enough but will still give you trouble and is by no means high-speed. In our room (located on the 2nd floor and as close to the lobby area as possible), the internet did not work at all. We got reception SOMEtimes in our bathroom of all places, but other than that, we had to go to the lobby for shoddy internet.

For a hotel that nice and expensive, we deemed it not worth the money. They should have working and high-speed internet.

Their pool actually has a deep end. Its close to Night Market and Chong Nonsi skytrain. Avoid the scumbag taxi drivers that hang around out front (do not believe anything is closed until you see that it is with your own eyes). Staff were polite. Nice sized room was always very clean.

Room Tip: The higher the better

Large Hotel in Silom, easy for the Night Market & Chong Nonsi. Check in has proved on several occasions ive stayed to be a frustrating affair, with surly reception staff (unusual for Thailand). Rooms are fine, with TV's that work (!!) & aircon that does too.

I can honestly say i've NEVER experienced a better Breakfast Buffet than the one here in the Narai..fantastic!!

Room Tip: ALWAYS book in advance, via the net (if you can) MUCH better rates available that way!!

We spent a few nigths at the Narai before heading north,,The hotel has good friendly staff and is well located,Rooms are very clean and beds are firm but not hard as they can be in some Asian hotels,Go for your breakfast as early you can as this hotel has lots of tour groups that fill the dining room from 6.30 until 8.00,If you like to have a massage there are some good one close to the hotel but avoid Diamond Massage,See the LADIES outside and you will soon why.I would rate this hotel as a good 3 to 3/5 star hotel,,
