I am just back from a 5 night stay in a twin room on the 11th floor with a good view. Cant believe I paid less than $80 australian through asia rooms. This price included breakfast for two. Think I had the most basic room as I did not have any face washers at all let alone in the shape of elephants. I found the walk to Vic.Monument no problem, interesting and quicker than it took the free bus to get there. I also took the local bus (no 551) from Vic Mon to the airport, it cost 35baht and was quick and efficient.

We have just come back from two weeks in Thailand and the Service at the Century Park was the best we recieved in Thailand. The food is excellent especially the Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor, yummy!! The rooms are nice, think we only had the basic one, but it was great, really nice bathroom and the facewasher folded into an elephant was the finishing touch!!!Wanted to bring it home but made for a great photo. The pool is resort standard.
The only hicup we had was that we had booked in for the night before we arrived so that we could get in at 6am, but this didn't happen and we still needed to wait 3 hours. Have emailed them about this and next time I would let them know prior to arrival what time I would be getting there in the morning so it's ready.

The location doesn't seem that good at first, but all you need to do is get a taxi, which are so cheap! Or a short walk- ten minutes to the skytrain, which for about 25baht will get you to the weekend markets or the city shops in no time. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to serveral location. We got a really flash car and driver, although just say no if they want to take you to the Gems Gallery, a little pushy on this.

Would stay here again! Stayed at the pathumwan princess on the other end of our hotel and other than the location the century park hotel was much better, felt more thai to me.

We stayed at this hotel August 18-22nd and were extremely happy with all this place has to offer. Our room on the 20th floor, had great views of the city and was extremely spacious and clean and the king size bed was super comfortable. The pool complex on the 5th floor was a welcome retreat after a long hard days shopping.
The staff were faultless and particular thanks to Fah for all the help she gave us.
The large MBK shopping centre is only an 80 baht Taxi ride and Prathunum Markets are a 10 minute walk.
The buffet breakfast selection is overwhelming and the service is A1. The extensive buffet dinner selection was also very good and the only negative was some of the 'hot' dishes were somewhat cold.
We will definately stay again and thoroughly recommend to all age groups.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic Hotel. Superb Value. Rooms were spacious and within the City Centre. Food was excellent and catered for most palates. Especially like the hotel pool on the 15th floor I think. Great views right across the city.

We decided to opt for a bit of luxury as we heard absolute horror stories of doing Bangkok on a budget, and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, the swimming pool and gym were great and the buffet breakfast was amazing!!!! We decided to stay again on our return trip, and they upgraded us to the executive floor because we were repeat business! Perfect. (Just make sure you get down early for breakfast because at 10am on the dot they ring a bell and all the food has been cleared away in 5 minutes flat!!)

Cannot add much more to the other reviews but our party of three stayed here end of April 2007 for 5 days as part of an air/hotel package from Toronto Canada, the value was excellent. The hotel definitely is a 4 star property with nice rooms, friendly service and yes food and drinks pricey. Our package had one dinner included, see photos, otherwise we went out to eat.

The taxi drivers are somewhat different, pretend not to understand english or read of off the literature, even had them call hotel to get us back. However, cost for three was less expensive by taxi than Skytrain, as a whole.

Our room overlooked the temple and was high up. Would recommend this hotel.
