One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Impeccably clean, well appointed, and well maintained. Had a terrific river view from the balcony! Polite and helpful staff. Excellent dining options…you will be spoilt for choices! Located kind of in an odd place, the area looks kind of shabby to have a hotel of this caliber. However, the sky train stop is just around the corner (two minutes walk) so getting around is very easy. Taxi also easily available. Will definitely go back!

Great hotel, definitely upgrade to a river-view room with a balcony, it's well worth the 20$ or so. There was some builing work going on but we were never bothered by it (rooms on 6th and 12th floors, Shangri-la wing) Hotel services, food, bars, spa are expensive but very good, although still not quite value for money. Both rooms we has had walk-in showers as well as a bath and were spacious. The showers had a grab rail and there is a switch for night-lights which illumiant the floor at ankle level. The rooms had an evening turn-down service and ice delivery for the ice buckets, but don't touch the well-stocked mini bar because it is horrendously expensive, even for 5* mini bar prices. (walk back to the main roadand turn right for another 300m and there's a 7-11 and a Robinson Department store (basement food hall with western-ish food)).
The hotel has it's own pier and dining-cruzer which is a buffet style dinner. Excellent food and a good 2hr trip up & down the river, good low-key dinning with restrained background music. The consierge can book you on more lively party/dance/disco boats if that's your style.
The staff are excellent.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. Arrived at 1am, no problem the staff were eager to help in making my check in a smooth process.

My view of the river was spectacular. The staff were very helpful with directions. Everyone in the hotel spoke good English (I have stayed in Bangkok hotels where English is just a word)

Nothing to fault here, except the stay was too short.

Hi, just returned from a great holiday in Bangkok,The service in this hotel is really great.Location right on the river it is central for sky train, and also the tourist boats that run up and down the river.Hotel rooms are big and spacious bathroom has everything you need as they provide all sorts of toiletries. It has lots of restuarants and the food is very good but a bit pricey compared to what you pay outside of the hotel ,but hey this is a 5 star so you expect to pay a bit more.
