I did enjoy my stay at the Ramada D'MA Bangkok, the room I stayed in on the 20th floor (unsure of room type) was very spacious for myself a single traveler and and no doubt a couple would be more than comfortable. The staff were great and always helpful. I like the location and the little street bar across the road was great to have a drink and meet the locals.

Some things I didn't enjoy were; The bed for me was too hard, it was like sleeping on the floor. however I did get a reasonable nights sleep every night, once I fell asleep. I really cannot fault the hotel other than the bed to be honest. I thought there was more but on reflection it was great.

I would not call our stay at this hotel a nightmare because the location was great and the doorman was lovely, but as for the rest of the staff, the service and communication was non existent. The reception could not communicate with us in English and asking for a simple towel to take with us to the Siam water park was so painful I eventually just left without them. The breakfast area is a complete disaster. We arrived on our first morning and there was no table for the 4 of us. There were table for 4 with 1 person seated everywhere and there was no control from the host. The tables were not set once people had left and we had to run around looking for cutlery and tea cups. The other couple we were traveling with had to request another mattress as the one that was in the room on arrival was so hard they may as well have slept on the floor. All in all, we were grateful for the amount of shopping and attractions there were so we didn't have to spend too much time in our room.

Room Tip: No comment on this one as all the rooms seem to look out onto other hotels or buildings.

Stayed at the Ramada D'MA in September 2012, from the moment i arrived to the day i left i could not fault the service. Stayed on the 20th floor WOW what a view, great views also from the pool area. Main shopping area only a short walk(about 5 min away). The Buffet was very good and the Matre'd there (cant remember his name was always happy and greeted you with a warm smile and and nice chat every morning i went down for breakfast.
Am looking forward to my next stay there in October 2013.

First i would start with that i had read a few reviews about this property on this Site ( Trip Advisor) but i choose to ignore it due to the brand Chain Ramada. Having Stayed in Ramada In Europe and Asia i gambled in my choice, The Hotel Staff were very rude starting from the Reception till the Bell Boys.The Ac.s in the room don't work i stayed in this hotel for 6 nights with 2 rooms as i was with Family.The Air Conditioners in all he rooms have a problem. Bangkok's Climate is such that you need the Ac/s Running at all times, Repeated Request resulted in changing of rooms and no result. They don't bother to apologies for the inconvenience instead shout at the Client .
I Don't Understand that Why do they take booking if they don't know how to honor they commitment.

Room Tip: Don't Stay at this hotel at any cost staff is very Rude and Abusive.They don't want to give...

Terrible experience during my stay in March 2013. I had stayed in this hotel 18 years ago and only stayed here again becauseI have clicked on a mystery deal on one of the hotel booking website. The reception staff were not friendly and only wanted to get the paperwork done. There was a musky smell in the room. The only good thing is that there are a few massage salons around the hotel. The most horrible part was the last day when we left our luggage in their storage room after we checked out. When we picked up our luggage after shopping, cockroaches were running out of our luggage onto the reception floor. Gosh!

This is an average hotel with rudest possible staff. However the ladies prefer to bear the insults as it is near pratuman the shopping paradise. The rooms have dark colored carpeting giving it a painful ambience. The bath area is clean but desires improvement. Water is not proper to drink.

Room Tip: Prefer non smoking rooms.
