Great breakfast, very help full staff and free wifi.
Rooms are OK but the carpet....not so clean. Room service is good and good priced.
Free shuttle bus to the amazing weekend market and to mbk. Around the hotel there's is nothing!but taxis are cheap so its not a big deal...
Good hotel to stay if you want to avoid the buzz of Bangkok city center and still be in Bangkok.its 15 to 20 minutes away from the center depending on traffic.

I spent a week here on business and can say honestly I was very comfortable. The hotel is a little dated, crammed lobby and older looking decor but the staff was great!, the Breakfast buffet at 92 cafe is outstanding with all sorts of dishes from Asia and India as well as an American style pancake and bacon.. Diner buffet equally inviting. There is a sky bar on the 24th floor with a lovely panoramic view or Bangkok's skyline and a surprisingly good red wine. The bed was comfortable and good hot water good pressure in the showers. Honestly a great spot to stay as long as you dont mind the traffic. It's location is a little of the normal track. which is really its only drawback.

Great breakfast buffet, swimming pool is big and clean, lots of space in the sun and in the shadow available, free wifi, nothing to complain. The only disadvantage I can think of is the location. Especially for (single/individual) visitors who like to leave the hotel and 'be somewhere' it is not very suitable. If one does not know Bangkok then the only choice is to take the free shuttle bus who will go to some Shopping Mall and the Underground Station. Alternatively a taxi, but then of course one has to know where to go.

not trying to be critical. this hotel has almost everything a 5 Star hotel could offer but on a tourist standard only.

being a frequent traveller to this hotel, I believe I have explored enough here.

Firstly, the hardware. The hotel is not that old but certainly needs a face-lift. lobby looks crammed. but you could expect everything you need here. a small cafe, sitting area, bakery, etc. room itself is spacious. there is a separate shower and the tub. there is also 110V outlet in the bathroom. Power plugs are equipped with universal adaptors. This is a big plus for international travellers. Having said that, the room is not so well maintained in terms of fixture. It is clean but many hardwares are falling apart.

Secondly, the location. Yes, there is no Mass Transit within 5 min walk. But it is definitely within 15 min walk. The taxi ride to Paragon takes less than 20 min ( if there is no traffic) and 50 -70 baht. I consider this is quite accessible. If you take the taxi to any of the nearest Mass Transit, the journey should take not more than 10 min. Near the hotel, there are many delicious and local food. Very reasonable priced. The dish starts from 30baht to 80baht. but word of caution, it is really hot and spicy!

I stay in this hotel every time I travel to Bangkok on business. True, there are many hotels to choose from in Bangkok but this hotel offers everything. Foremost the staffs service and breakfast buffet are outstanding. A Variety of restaurants to choose from, free internet in the room, exquisite music at night in the foyer. In the lobby a desk to go to if you want to book any event and/or tour with very competitive rates. Free shuttle to major shopping centers and local train transport. You can catch a taxi right at the front door and to top it off not only do the rooms look pleasing to the eye but they are always pristine clean. Not to be outdone by the low cost factor for this relaxing elegant hotel.

The hotel is great value for money with friendly and courteous staff that go all out to make you comfortable. They are geared up to receive business travellers and can anticipate needs and provide solutions. The Internet worked fine. The fitnes centre and swimming pool are hygienic and well maintained. The Thai restaurant also had a cultural performance in the evening. One challenge is the scarcity of vegetarian options in the Room Service menu. Also, location is close to the airport but far away, when you consider time spent in busy traffic, from downtown (Sukhumvit). The latter is the hub for most activities and dining out. Also, taxis are not readily available and might involve waiting for a couple of minutes.

Room Tip: The Non-Smoking floors are quiet.

Visited the hotel during my trip to the fareast. Very good hotel i would say. Rooms were infact very nice and very well maintained. The reception area was quite good. The food in the restaurants was good as well. The continental buffet breakfast was also great. Staff members were also very courteous. Overall it has been a very comfortable stay at the hotel.
