I have travelled around quite a lot in the last 10 years and I have to say that this hotel was exceptional. This is the year of the east for us ( All Holidays east of Europe) and all I can say is why did I wait this long to explore this wonderful part of the world. Service in the hotel was great, staff always there to hand, complementry 1st night meal all you could ask for, and even when we left on a early trip they were up at the crack of dawn and able to do eggs etc. Room had a double aspect over the City and everything was spotless. Lastly it was great to have the pool on the 4th floor after a long day in the hustle and bustle of the city.

I have been to Bangkok a few times now and seen quite alot of what is on offer. This time my family and I stayed at The Rembrandt Hotel which was absolutely perfect. Not only was it amazing value but it delivered in every area. The rooms were great, the staff amazing and the food was second to none. For anyone visiting Bangkok I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as it excels in all aspects.

My stay was faultless, the reception was great. The staff were helpful and always willing to help. The Room was comfortable with a king size bed. The Spa was relaxing and the Thai traditional massage did me a lot of good. The hotel location is central to all other places of interest. The breakfast spread was kingly.

The Indian restaurant experience was excellent and it is a must visit if you do stay at this hotel. Our check out was smooth with excellent transfers to the airport.

I look forward to return

Mohammed Hersi

Me and my Girlfriend stayed at the rembrandt last april 2010. upon check check we got a complimentary upgrade to a better room. the hotel staff were all accommodating and helpful. the hotel location is bit far from the usual sites that tourists go to in bangkok but all are accessible via taxi, skytrain or the subway. the sukhumvit area is a trendy area where most western style restaurants, bars and pubs are located.

we had an awesome stay at this hotel and wouldn't mind staying here again in our next bangkok trip. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Felt the servcie (and food) at this hotel were excellent - it is run like a well oiled machine - so high marks for that. The public areas are good enough. The room (has a deluxe) was OK but somewhat faded/outdated. I don't care for the area - but when it comes to Sukhumvit the Rembrandt is well situated. All in all a good stay and a solid 4 star. Do I think for the room rates charged you can likely do better elsewhere.

Rembrandt Hotel, tucked into one of the bylanes off Sukhumvit Road is worth every penny that you paid for. Not far from the hustle bustle of Sukhumvit, yet tucked into a bylane with no hassles of traffic noise or pollution. Its got lovely rooms, an awesome swimming pool and 4 restaurants, serving, Thai, Mexican, Indian as well as continental. The Indian restaurant RANG MAHAL on the top floor is one of the best in Bangkok, I believe.
Worth the stay, and its pretty reasonably priced too for such a lavish hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Rembrandt. Not perfect or particularly outstanding, it was modern, clean tidy and comfortable - but you can see from my scores that there were really no faults!

We tried a couple of the restaurants and the Italian was very good. Wine, like everywhere in Thailand, is expensive.
Breakfast was a bit indifferent, but we were perhaps spoilt by our previous hotel!

Not used to being so high (we were about half way up the 26 floors. DIsappointing that there is no observation room for views over the city.

Most of all, the hotel is really well placed for touring the city, being close to the metro and skytrain, and lots of things are nearby. We used it as a base for touring the city.
We used the local massage places in the street for foot massages and they were nice, clean and friendly. Hotel prices were a bit expensive.

If you stay here, try the "Cabbages and Condoms" restaurant nearby! Don't be put off by the name!
The swimming pool on the 4th floor was an experience!
Bathrobes and slippers included and excellent bathing product.
I do think that the hotel suffers from having no grounds and being stuck some way off the main street, down what can only described as a big alley.
