The Hotel is 5min. far away from the Sky train station Asoke. The Hotel appears in a 80´s style. The SPA and also the fitness area is very modern. About the breakfast...you can eat it, but it is not a 5 five star buffet.

In my point of view one of the best 4 star Hotels in Bangkok. Friendly staff. Great rooms. Good location on Sukhumvit Soi 18.

Compared to other higher rated hotels in tripadvisor, this hotel is just ok in that it is quite jaded, more distant from train station, located at a slightly secluded area. As a matter of fact, we came across a night life area that looked like a red light district just across the main road when we were looking for restaurants. We stayed at the serviced apt which was much more spacious with additional living, dining and kitchen areas but it was not well maintained relative to my last stay 5 years ago. The hot shower went hot and cold intermittently which the hotel rectified from time to time. We were allowed to use the hotel facilities but the pool was too small, restaurants expensive and deserted. On hindsight, I should have taken the recommendations from tripadvisor which I normally would choose from the top 10 instead of returning to this hotel out of familarity.

i chose this hotel on recomendations of my cousins and friends and sure wasnt dissappointed. The hotel scored on all counts, on grandeur, ambience, service, location and ofcourse food.
The approach to the hotel is ok but once ure inside its great. The lobby area is huge. the check in was very efficient and fast. As I had requested for an early check in at the time of booking, they kindly obliged.
The rooms were fairly sized and very comfortable. The view though wasnt very great, The bathroom was spacious with powerful shower jets to just wash away the tiredness.
The breakfast buffet was very lavish with a lot of choice for vegetarians including a few Indian dishes. The hotel also has a special indian restaurant which has a great menu and especially the sunday brunch which is worth it
This hotel is strategically placed so it is accessable from two different sois(streets). It is close to the mrt station, and the shopping area of Sukhumvit, the closest being the Emporium mall. Also around the hotel one would find Seven elevens (convinience stores), decent massage parlours and a few small restaurants. Taxis are also easily available. It is at a covinient location so one could come back, dump the shopping bags, rest and freshen up a bit before embarking on the shopping spree again.
The hotel has special Limousine service (at an extra cost ofcourse) especially for pick up and drops to the airport. They are expensive but if you are lucky as I was you could get a drop to the airport at about half the rate if they have a sheduled pickup booked.
The stay was definately worthwhile,

luxuroius hotel in a perfect location ideal city break. Cannot fault hotel, the staff were pleasant and approachable. The only complaint we have is that Bangkok is not as "cheap" a city to visit as we are led to beleive, despite this we will definately be visiting again in the near future

My stay with friends was very pleasurable at Rembrandt as their entire staff is very excellent and rooms are very spacious, neat and giving good vibration to stay with. Their food is very delicious. Let me share with all, my experience which will give you idea about the hotel staff and service. I forgot my mobile in taxi, I reported to hotel security and they helped me with their system by providing all relevant data which helpd me to contact police. Even after I left from Bangkok, Mr. Jan and Mr. Lucas with their team has followed up on their own with Thai Royal Police and finally I got my mobile back sitting in India, Can you believe this??? Yes, you should, becase I got back my mobile due to them. This was unbelievable but it does happen.
