Just a quick stay in early November 2013 before a long return flight home. One night in sweet comfort after 2 weeks of travel! I started this trip with a 4 day visit to the Sukosol in late October 2013. Gracious hosts, excellent concierge and the food in-house is wonderful.
My favorite day? Walk up the Golden Mount as recommended by the Concierge, return to the Sukosol for a lunch of Phad Thai and Thai Iced Tea; followed by a Thai Massage,,,heaven on earth.
My first stay here was in late 2012 after another two week trip in the area. That was good luck and now I will say at this fine hotel whenever I am lucky enough to be in Bangkok!
Amazing access to the Phaya Thai Skytrain station.
I have recommended you to many business and couples travelers.

I've stayed at The Sukosol regularly for a few years (since it was Siam City) and it is my fav hotel in Bangkok.-You get a lot for you money 1. Great location- SkyTrain, Airport Link 2. Sleek modern rooms, nice amenities, super clean 3. excellent customer service. I usually spring for the club floor if possible. The restaurants are also very good as is the spa.
Jan 2014 I used The Sukosol for a 25 person international Business Meeting. Again- the Customer Service could not have been better- from initial planning to the coffee breaks and billing invoice processes. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at The Sukosol each of the 4 times I have visited Bangkok (usually at the beginning and end of my trips). I always return because of the wonderful service, great facilities, fantastic buffet breakfast and beyond convenient position (right across from Phaya Thai BTS and the Airport Express). Rooms are comfortable and clean, while the recent renovations are fantastic too. This hotel is a complete bargain! The location allows you quick and easy access to Siam for shopping, MBK and also the chatuchak weekend markets.
A special mention to Harry at the front desk for his wonderful help and service during both our check in and check out. No doubt we will see you again on our next trip!

This hotel was really great. Beautiful foyer with a Real authentic Thai feel with every modern convenience. We were located in The business club which gave us lovely canapés and drinks from 5:30pm and a fabulous breakfast with a lovely outlook.

Our room was spotlessly clean, with all the comforts of home except the bed could just be a tad softer. Pillows were beautiful.staff were friendly and had a good understanding of English. The location was brilliant. We were able to just walk to the train in a cole of minutes and it can take you anywhere and so cheap, clean and cool.

Room Tip: Non smoking is the way to go and if you can afford it stay in the business club rooms

Thank you so much for your kind feedback on our Club rooms and the Club Lounge experience. On behalf of the team, we are so happy that you felt it was worth recommending.

It is also great to hear that you appreciated our location next to the BTS, which makes it easy to get around when the traffic is bad.

*Please note we DID NOT travel in Jan 2013 but had to put in a date for the review.
My family stayed at this hotel in a family room when it was the Siam City 7 years ago on our first family holiday to Thailand. We loved everything about it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was huge, clean and had everything we needed. The restaurants close by were lovely and we thought having the 711 next door was a big bonus! It is close to the Skytrain and we liked the fact that it was away from the hussle-bussle of the inner city, yet the inner city was so easy to get to. Now that we are planning our second holiday to Thailand we are keen to once again to stay here, hence why I have arrived at this site. However, now that our girls are older, we would be unable to secure a family room and feel that accommodating 2 rooms is now out of our price range. We are more than happy to recommend to families of younger children and people traveling without children.

Efficient, polite, helpful. Epitome of good Thai service. Pretty little rooftop pool although too chilly to use in the winter! Good buffet breakfast and lovely relaxing bar for coffee or tasty cocktails (use your 2 for 1 voucher!). Tip: can post letters in the hotel shop.

I stayed here for 2 nights in March I believe the hotel is new renovated and it is very easy to see this in the public areas. The lobby, the Bar and the restaurants are all very nice. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was the shame It wasn't bad as there was plenty of space but it is very old. The bathrooms seem like something from the 1990's.
Aside from the room, everything was very good, great location, excellent breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff (allowing us to order food not on the menu in the Thai restaurant). Overall, I would very happy to stay here again, so long as I get one of the newer renovated rooms.
