I agree with the other reviews. The attitude and arrogance of staff in this hotel is the worst I have seen. Rooms are small and showing signs of wear and tear. Bathroom was quite grubby. Internet is a problem also. Overall the most unhelpful Hotel I have stayed in in Bangkok. I would never ever stay here again.

I have stayed at Dream Hotel on several occasions for business and although the rooms are fine the service is the worst I have ever seen. On two occasions the airport collection failed to show yet the hotel insists that you still have to pay. After refusing to pay, they charged by Credit card once I left the building.
The hotel is split between two buildings on opposite sides of the road and the internet does not work in most rooms. I heard several other people complaining of the same issue.
The attititude of the front desk is by far the most arrogant and unhelpful I have ever come across.

There are so many other hotels in Bangkok at the same rate there is no reason to select this hotel. A real shame because the Dream Hotel in New York is great.

Stayed at dream2. Nice, impeccable service. Rooms are clean, only thing that lacks is a tooth brush, otherwhise fully equiped. Gym was so-so: small and tredmill wasn't safe. Breakfast is great. Overall enjoyed my stay.

we like this hotel very much, we have been there three times now and every time good experience. room very clean, staff great and very friendly. ask for the free tuk tuk ride to the closest shopping mall, kids like it and it save you a few bits of energy which are alway nice to have in reserve in bangkok. close to the bts etc etc. breakfast is very nice!

Stayed 3 nights in the classic suite. Loved it! After going through all the reviews for hotels in bangkok we selected this one and it did not let us down. We could walk to BTS , they also provide a free ride with their tuk-tuk. Lot of shopping options, stores as well as street shopping ,street food are available close by. The breakfast was very good with a variety of food items from continental to traditional thai, even had good vegetarian options. The only thing is dream and dream 2 are adjacent buildings. The swimming pool is in dream 2 and closes early.(not open 24hrs). So if you are living in dream building you have to walk across street to dream 2, which I think is very inconvenient. The swimming pool has a good view. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. Good hotel overall.

We were lucky and were upgraded to a lux room in the Dream hotel 2 so our experience was enhanced!
Large room, well decorated, quiet with small rooftop pool.
Staff v helpful. Breakfast disappointing, lots of items but all rather bland and uninspiring.
Good location 3 mins walk to Sukhumvit 5 mins to sky train

Located about 5 minute's walk down Suk Soi 15, Dream Hotel is convenient for visitors to Bangkok. When you come out of Suk 15, on the left hand side is Terminal 21, a new shopping complex that is themed like an airport terminal, with various floors taking on the characteristics of a major city like London, San Francisco and Istanbul. Moreover, the BTS Asoke skytrain station is also located to the left of the soi which makes getting to other shopping locations such as Siam, MBK, and Mo Chit (Chatuchak market) very easy.

The hotel itself consists of 2 buildings. Main Reception is the older of the 2 buildings. On arrival you will see a large rotating mirror covered cube on its end. Blue LEDs shine on this cube and at night provides an interesting effect.

The standard room is of a good size with A/C, large screen TV and other mod-cons. In addition to normal lighting, blue LED lighting strips are installed under the bed and other strategic places so that it provides a nightclub-like lighting in the room. Interesting for about 5 minutes but not useful for reading etc. The wet area has a basin, toilet and a shower - no bath (not important for me). The shower screen is a single open glass partition so if you decide to have a vigorous shower it will splash the floor in front of the basic and toilet. No biggie - just be careful and don't slip. I only wish it had an international socket but again I always carry my own plug adapter.

The second building has the pool but I did not go there to have a look so I can not say if the pool is good or otherwise.

Breakfast was included in the tariff and has a small selection of Japanese, Thai, and European food. Not a big fare but sufficient. The bar area was decked out with Halloween theme during my stay.

Nothing was wrong with the hotel but until it gets a major renovation I could only give it a 3 star.
