Great modern, hi-tech, nice, clean hotel! The rooms are great, loads of space, Large and EXTREMELY comfortable beds.... All rooms come with a dark blue ambient lighting which is great to set a chilled out vibe/mood.

Dont confuse urself tho.... this hotel is in two parts (separate buildings) but only a few meters across the road from each other. The newer building is where i stayed and the rooms as described... there is also a roof top swimming pool and cocktail bar on the top floor.

The other building (with a larger lobby) has a complimentery tuk tuk service to take you where u want to go if requested in advance a restaurant and bar with one the first floor.

Breakfast is nice and readily available buffet for guests and the bar has a mixer which hosts a DJ on some night. The mojitos are made fresh and taste great.

The location is Prime on Sukhumvit road.... Head left up it from the hotel and u will reach the sky train and large shopping malls in minutes.... or turn right and you will wonder past the notoriously filled Soi's and be offered everything from clothes, knives, dvd's, porn, valiums and massages.... hahaha...... Dont let it scare u tho, just walk past n ignore if ur not interested and u will soon get used to it.

A little further down that way is Nana Plaza a 3 story square filled with neon lights, loud music,Gogo Bars and stage girls. Definatly a male only type of place but women wudnt face any problems if they wanted to go there and have a look to..

Surrounding the square entrance are numerous 'normal bars and clubs' which are great if u want to socialise and have a drink without all the half naked girls in front of ur face all night...

Also if u are a Western traveller and want to go out and party in bangkok without all the sleeze then i would suggest to head to KHAO SAN ROAD (personally i prefer stayin there in Bangkok, but Sukhumvit is worth a visit too!).... it is only a short cab ride away and shudnt cost u more than 200Baht max!

*** OVERALL FOR WOT THE PRICE U PAY THIS HOTEL IS A GREATT VALUE FOR MONEY & I WUD DEFINATLY RECCOMEND STAYING HERE***

Room Tip: For a newer room and easier access to the pool ask for a room in the second buliding...and to be honest, location wise there is about a tn second walk between the two so it doesnt really make a difference. Rooms can be request upon check in and if u arent happy with it u can always move to the other vuilding after!

Excellent Hotel in the busy Bangkok, close to the train, subway, shopping centres, little cafes and restaurants.
People there were very helpfull and they certainely know how to welcome their guests.
I'll be back there again for sure.

Room Tip: There are all good rooms, we were 3 couples and each of us got same kind of room but it's especially the quality of the bed that makes travellers very happy, it's when you wake up and you had a good night sleep. Oh and the blue lights...

Very nice hotel, fantastic staff who were very happy to help at all times.
Room was clean, amenities were great.
Funky, with a touch of flair. Coloured lights in bedroom made an interesting touch.
Overall, it was a very comfortable five night stay and I would definitely come again.
Please note that the bathroom door does not have a lock, however this did not impact on me too much given I was alone.

Funky boutique style metropolitan hotels are my favorite types of hotels to visit, so I was looking forward to staying at Dream.  A couple of months earlier I stayed at Aloft Bangkok and held high expectations for Dream as they looked much alike.  (See my review for Aloft, it is my most frequently read and most highly voted review)

The location is great, close to shopping and nightlife.

The staff were friendly and provided good service, but none particularly outstanding… such as you can sometimes find.

On check in I recognised only a couple of the features we had seen in the photos.  The lobby was much smaller than I expected.  This didn't make sense until a couple of days later when I inquired where the pool was, and informed it was across the road where the rest of the hotel was located, including the areas I had seen in the photos of the lobby that I thought were missing.  The rest of the hotel amenities such as the gym were also in that building.  As we checked in, the hotel did not smell fresh... a little musty and quiet.  In the following days we did notice the lobby was then playing music, and also begun to feel and smell more alive.

Checking into the room... it looked cool, the bed blue lit from below like in the photos.  The bathrooms were great, everything nice until THUD!  One hell of a hard mattress...oh no!  Enough to cost you sleep...one of those Asian style super hard foam....eewwhh.

Over at the pool (across the road, but only a narrow lane that is not to busy at all, at not really a hassle to get to) the service was traditionally great.  I was welcomed at the poolside by a small complimentary platter of fruit and was served a cocktail and some food that I ordered.

This place is very acceptable in a competitive part of the world for hospitality, but I would chose Aloft over it for the huge cool lobby, bars and beds.

Room Tip: Ask if some rooms are known to have softer beds....?
