I stay in this hotel whenever I'm in Bangkok & the reason I keep coming back is for its location, price & friendliness. Situated in Soi-11, its near the barmungrad & samitivej hospitals & also the major shopping malls. the best part is this road is the most happening in bangkok. lots of restaurants & all night street food-stalls is one of the attractions. the concierges are excellent & so are the rest of the staffs. the buffet breakfast is superb & the rooms & the toilets are very neat & clean. The only thing they lack from other hotels in the area is that they should have a free tuktuk-taxi service. other than this, i recommend this hotel highly.

Room Tip: Choose the Tower: 3 rooms as they are cheaper but has the exact same amenities.

Good rooms, OK food, great pool, minimilistic service attitude. Not bad, but just OK value for the money you pay. Bed wasnt big enough for 2 people (and no we aren't beluga).I wouldnt go back.

5 guys hung near the doors all day but never opened it for my wife or I. They appeared to be working more for the travel agents and not for the hotel or the client. Our promise of 'taxi waiting for you at 8AM' was a guy pointing at one of those dodgy guys who hang in front of hotels all day saying, 'He is good, you go with him!'. I walked to the main street and got a meter taxi for far far far less.

One of them told my wife that our son couldnt eat my breakfast(I was sleeping) and I had to be there - wierd ridiculous crap at what should be a much better establishment. Maybe it was because my wife is Asian or maybe they are just tossers. Either way...

Room Tip: bed size is dubious

I've stayed here in 2005 and now again in 2013. During the years I've also stayed at other hotels in BKK, but felt I wanted to return to the President. I just absolutely love the location, it could not be perfect. Sukhumvit soi 11 is a great lively soi and the BTS stop (Nana) is just 5 minutes from the hotel.

My experiences are only from Tower III, don't know about the rooms in the other two. Rooms are spacious, good wifi and a/c, big safe (could even store my laptop there), free bottled water and coffee everyday. Breakfast buffer has a good variety of cold and hot dishes, fruit, omelettes etc.

The best thing aside from the location are the swimming pools! There's one on each tower and at least the one in III has sun all day long, and you can always find a free lounger. Pool towels are provided. There are also two gyms and washing machines for guests.

We stayed here last week and the location is spot on! If you want to be right in the thick of it, Grand President is the Hotel to choose. It's in a street just off the main drag, is a good price, our booking included breakfast each morning and it has all the amenities you would want. Great hotel. If you're a non smoker just make sure you book a non smoking floor!

Stay at the the Grand President Hotel on Soi 11 in Bangkok, Thailand. This is my 8th trip to Bangkok and staying at the Grand President Hotel. The staff at the Grand President are polite
and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel as a whole is clean and comfortable There are 3 towers and each towers has a swimming pool and 2 of the towers
has a exercising room. Each morning in the main tower, there is an continental breakfast which
offer to the hotel guest for free. Outside guest must pay. Also, if you like Japanese food, there
is a Japanese restaurant in the hotel. For eating, there are several places you can go in the area.
There is an German, Italian, Chinese/Thai, and a Korean restaurant that is not to far from the
hotel. The Grand President is located on Soi 11 which is centralize near the BTM station, the
shopping center, and other things that you can do.
