Well..the location was great for me work-wise, and I loved that it was possible to walk in calm little alleys in he back in the evening with lots of food stalls. It is also about 10 to 15 minutes walk from patpong night market. as everywhere in Bangkok, it is at the very close proximity to a 7/11.

The hotel is a business one. It has tried maybe a bit too hard to get a European feel and as a result it is a bit oldfashioned, particularly the lobby with his grand staircases and cristal (glass?) chandelier But the rooms are nice, large and comfortable. The mattress was really hard but that a personal taste. The room had two mini bottle of complimentary water, as well as coffee and tea with kettle. The mini bar had super basic drinks, large safe, the TV had a few English speaking channels (news and movies). The in room service was perfect and the Thai food I ordered are really nice. I had lots of problems to connect to internet and the person who came to help did not seem to know much more than me. they have a business centre downstairs with internat access as well as a printer (but not cheap...)
The bathroom was large too with both a large shower and bathtube (a bit old looking but clean). There was hot water, pressure, it was clean, basic amenities were there.
The breakfast was good, a fair choice of things. Again nothing mega exciting but enough choice for any one to find something good.
Checking in and out was very fast.
Only real potential negative: in the first evening I had some very loud plumbing noise coming through the walls. it did not last too long and I did not hear any more noise after that...???

You walk through those doors and you are hit by tranquility.

Senses are overloaded on the streets of Bangkok, the noise, the smells, the humidity, the traffic and the chaos.......then you switch it all off as you return to this lovely hotel. The staff can't do enough for you. They are friendly, helpful and very efficient. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the facilities excellent for a business hotel. The entrance lobby exudes elegance with an amazing chandelier and comfortable lounge area. The outdoor pool is small but perfectly formed and ideal for a refreshing dip! The breakfasts cater for most tastes and the chinese restaurant on the first floor is really good.

This isn't the most glitzy hotel ever, but it has a charm and tranquility that make it very special. I would definitely recommend it!

This is simply a great hotel . It is true luxury in the heart of Bangkok!
It appears on first impressions to be a little formal with some of the male staff in business suits but dont be decieved , it's very friendly , helpful and a lovely place to stay. The staff are great and really know the job.
It's well located and within walking distance of the Patbong but its in a quiet residential street in the convent area. Only snag was the Internet connection not great and no wi-fi for your iphone!
I will hopefully enjoy this hotel for many years to come. Recommended!

Room Tip: simply be nice to the reception staff!

A truly excellent hotel and perfectly located for the Silom business district. The long time serving staff here at this hotel since it opended have a real professional attitude towrds their work. The rooms are supperb and well appointed. Food in either the cafe or the Chinese restaurant is also up to the highest standard. I always find this hotel to be slightly higher on price but woth the extra. A great breakfast will get you off to a good start for the day.

Room Tip: Worth going for the corner suite if you can get one

Walking distance to the Skytrain, MRT, Pat Pong and Lumpini Park. Quick check in and all the staff were pleasant. A good selection of eastern and western food at breakfast, which started at 6.00 This was useful as we had early pick ups for tours. These were booked with Theo Express, adjacent to Century Park Hotel.

Room Tip: Some floors are non smoking
