Overall experience and service is not up to the Conrad standard. The staff at the hotel seemed really inexperienced and unfriendly-- across the board. From check in to cleaning services to breakfast service to the gym to the concierge to check out, there was a lack of friendliness and professionalism.
Room cleanliness and service: Poor, rooms are not kept tidy with cleaning service. Showers flooded after every use, requiring two towels to mop up the mess. Cleaning service staff is not friendly.
Breakfast service. The service there was terrible. Getting a coffee could take upwards to 20 minutes and asking for anything was met with irritation. One waiter snapped at my 70 year old mother for requesting strawberry jam. When management was alerted, there was no follow up.
Gym maintenance. While the gym has a really awesome selection of equipment, I was pretty appalled that the gym staff never cleaned the equipment. I'd watch guests go from equipment to weights to yoga mats without wiping or cleaning. I ended up having to bring my own wipes each day to ensure proper hygiene.More
