Booked the room in Space zone, I was totally disappointed to see the reaction of the Reception people. They are rude and blunt, must say this hotel is not worth to spend money.

Location of this hotel is fantastic, its near all shopping area, you can find KFC and Mcdonalds just near to this.

Swimming pool is again disappointing, its actually small not so big.

Overall I will never visit this hotel again.

Recommended for by friends, we stayed in the Baiyoke hotel.
The highest building in Thailand and we booked a room on the 72nd floor with a fantastic view over the city.
Service is what you can expect from the size of this hotel. Not very much personalized service.
The room was very big, clean, but needs a little bit a redecorating.
Breakfast was buffet and average.
Location is great, with shopping near by towards all directions. MRT within a few hunderd meter.
Price is quite cheap, which makes this a hotel which is great to stay if you are not looking for a topclass 5 star hotel. Very good for discovering the city.
Overall recommended and we would go back here for a few days, when staying in bangkok

Room Tip: choose for a high up as possible ; best view in bangkok

booked a room at standard zone, view was facing platinum mall area.

check in take quite sometime but acceptable.

room is very spacious, 2 queen bed and was clean and comfortable. comes with a bathtub too and there's a mini walkin wardrobe area for us to put our stuff. quite well equipped.

the hotel is a walking distance from the train station, pretty safe to walk there, about 8mins if you know how to walk through behind.

they do have shuttle bus to train station when you check out to put your luggage. do check with the conceirge.

the hotel location is good. walking distance to platinum, pratunam market is just below. very easy to hail taxi from the hotel. hotel staff would help you get one.

overall this is a good place to stay. am going back again next year

Room Tip: from the train station please walk behind the alley is a faster route but it will close at night.

This hotel is right smack at the Pratunam wholesale market with an MRT station about 150m away. From the airport, it takes about 25mins to reach this hotel by train.

The rooms are huge and clean with an attached wardrobe area. The bathroom is also very big with a shower cubicle and a tub. The beds and pillows are comfortable and after a good walk around the markets, to nearby sights and clubbing, you can be assured of a good night's sleep.

The hotel is always crowded with people and they are either in-house guests or visitors to the observatory deck. Due to this, the lifts can get delayed at times.

I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast and lunch though there is a huge variety to choose from. Nevertheless, the fruit buffet deserves a special mention here. Open daily from 9am-9pm at the Fruit Court on the 18th floor (same level as the lobby), the fruit buffet costs THB180 if you are a hotel guest and THB360 for walk-in guest. Apart from the huge variety of local fruits, there are also mango sticky rice, durians, preserved fruits, fruit jelly, fruity sweets etc.

There are many restaurants within walking distance from Baiyoke Sky.

This is a good place to stay if shopping tops your list and is very convenient to move around as the MRT is very close by.

Location is Ok as with many hotels in Bangkok. It is unique and the price of $100 for 72 floor seems OK. Great views. However if it is a special treat what you after you will be disappointed. I still come again, but will be prepared for the mishaps. The style is nice, the beds are OK, rooms are large, but everything seems unfinished and or poorly managed. The reception does not know how to deal with clients and does not really listen to you. I guess they are very bussy if that can be an excuse. Unlike the rest the entry does not look as good as what it represent, but thats not a criticism, I rather get a surprise in the hotel then a shock. the room is bit OK bit gloomy though. not much light. The bed site lamp did not work. Shower did not drain and overflowed to to bathroom and the drain there did not take the water neither. Can not complaint about the low prices at the restaurants or even on the balcony deck at 83 floor. But the service there reflects that low price. IT IS JUST unbelievable contrast. You are in this unique place, with where things do not add up. Hard to describe, you have to see it and experience it. As I said, I will be back and would recommend it to you at good price as a place to stay, but expect nothing but the uniqueness of this place and you like it.

My husband and I booked this hotel from ads of being a quality hotel in the heart of Bangkok. This hotel is over crowded with people trying to get to the observation deck which makes for SLOW elevators and long waits for just about everything.

We were staying in the presidential suite on the 72 floor. The hotel room had a musty smell and could use a face lift. We were surprised that we had to purchase internet if we wanted to use it. It seemed like a lot of the activities or rooms that the hotel had to offer were closed. The bar at the top played horrible music, and was empty. We stayed for a drink then went over to the much nicer Banyan Tree Hotel (which we would have stayed if we knew what this hotel was like).

Beds were uncomfortable and hard.

We refused getting into a taxi that would not use the meter, and the hotel staff helping us find a taxi were not happy with us so often we would go across a block or two and get a taxi ourselves. You would think the hotel staff would want to help us.

Breakfast was just ok. The quality was average I guess.
Overall this hotel is just alright, and we were fairly disappointed with our stay and would not stay again.

Spacious room, comfy bathroom. Located near the platinum mall. But too bad, they dont give free wifi in the room. I had to buy vouchers to be able to use the internet connections in the room. They give special lift to the 84th floor (the revolving deck) for the hotel guests. A 24 hours mini market is at the lobby floor. So, overall it is a convenient place to stay.
