We stayed in Hyatt Erawan for 2 days in Bangkok with our 3 years old son. The location of the hotel is rather good which just beside the famous Erawan and about 10 minutes walk to the downtown shopping centers.

We had a room on the corner which offers nice view to the pool in the hotel. The room is in compliance with the 5 stars standard. The most attractive point of the hotel is the pool. Our son enjoys the pool very much. The breakfast in the hotel is also very nice with a lot of choice. The employee is friendly, especially to small child.

It's a nice stay in Bangkok in Grand Hyatt.

I've stayed at the Hyatt before but this time was a different case as I convinced my husband to stay in that Hotel instead of other hotels he wanted to stay in. It was a little expensive but since it was just for a night he did not mind..

We checked in at 12noon and asked for a late check out the next day since our flight was at night. They told us they can give us a 2pm checkout which was great..

We got the couples massage at the Spa which was amazing! After that we had the buffet at the coffee shop, which had a great spread but was a little pricey.

This hotel is located at a very convenient location. Walking distance to Central World Mall and 5 minutes cab ride to Platinum mall.

The next day we called up the reception and asked them for a little later checkout and they agreed till 4pm! Which was great because we were planning to leave for the airport at 5 anyways.

Would really recommend this hotel compared to other 5 star hotels in the Erawan area!

Great place for business trips. Staffs are all friendly and very helpful. Being there on a business trip is tough esp when the locals do not undersand much eng. It was a great relieve when the concierge was a great help with directions etc.

Room was comfortable and clean

Buffet breakfast was one of the best ever.

Security was tight, bags need to be checked everytime you enter the hotel lobby and identity card need to be showed if we return late at night.

Only bad thing was the swimming pool, water was way too cold for a dip.

Other than that, would definitely come back again!

The Grand Hyatt Erawan is a wonderful location - close to shopping malls and the skytrain. We could easily get to our tailor in near the Nana station and also out to JJ market. The rooms were quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. Nice pool, spa and locker room. We had a late flight so were able to shower and change there before leaving the hotel.
There are several good restaurants in the hotel as well as being close to many others. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in Bangkok.

the location of this hotel is really good. Only several minutes walk room big shopping malls, eatery and city train station. The staff o this property also is very friendly in a personal way, when I checked in, the reception staf told me that the room that was booked or me "not good view" so she switched me to 1027, which was indeed has a very good view o the city and hotel's pool. the breakast selection were very good, and the lobby is ok or meeting and some cold beer. The whole ambiance of the hotel was very elegant yet relaxing.

Although the hotel is a tad old but it is well maintained and the charms of the hotel still exist in every corner. The wonderful location is a plus point in staying in this hotel. Trying out the spa is a must when you are there. The gym is very well equip. The service is wonderful and the staffs are very sincere. When they thank you, you can feel they mean it from the heart. There were 2 small problems when I was there, the creeky bed and the shower that didn't work but the staff immediately solve the problem and gave me a new room and apologise. I like the quick response of the staff. One thing I notice though, was the breakfast spread was not as glorious as before, in the past it was really amazing, but now the spread although much lesser, it is still substantial for a good breakfast. I would definitely choose to stay there again when I visit bangkok.
