“Great location to shopping malls!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2009

The Grand Hyatt was definitely grand (from the outside) and getting a little less grand in the actual room (still roomy but starting to look like a refurbishment needs to be scheduled). The spa is fabulous, outdoor pool is fabulous (great for a swim in the morning before the shops open at 10am), bakery on the lower ground floor has great things for breakfast and coffee if you do not want to eat in the main restaurants on the lobby floor. Access to the skywalk and the skytrain cannot be faulted and under cover access during the rainy season is a plus (through adjoining malls - Erawan and Amarin). Room service, cleaning, fruit and guest water bottles are a nice touch. Flat rate taxi to airport (incl tolls) avail for 400bht.

I stay for two weeks19 sept till 3 oct at a grand deluxe room ,good but bussy hotel location , easy connection to skytrain , extremely friendly staff, love the breakfast at the dinning room and buffet dinner at You Me, excellent facilities for excercise ,and great but noisy ( traffic and skytrain )pool, good well equiped and nice rooms , but....noisy , I could hear the cooling units running all the time on the rooftop of the nearby garage , and because of the nature of some guest, also there voices in there rooms , noisy tv and other " activities " during the night
After complaining, they give me another room at the business floor , different nature of guests and less nois from cooling fans

I always stay here becasue the location is so good and easily navigable to shopping destinations. The hotel is starting to age a little bit and the rooms and bathrooms don't seen as grand as they used to . Staff are great and the spa and swimming pool are seriously nice. Next time I might stay somewhere else......but wouldn't complain if I had to stay here again. I think there's four seasons nearby........

Simply very good, all according to the high Hyatt standard. Very nice rooms, good views, spacious and well equiped. Breakfast is very good so is the gym with all modern facilities.
Location is good, central and close to 2 Skytrain stations.
Very service friendly staff...almost too friendly...(I guess typical Thai) it will almost get annoying.
Too bad they charge extra for internet.

Truly luxury Thai service, starting from the airport pick-up service and ending with the room-service.

You & Mee restaurant is a very nice place to test a variety of Thai cuisine. Perfectly balanced brakfrast offer - asian and european as well.

Panorama over the city from upper floors is amazing.

Definitely a choice for next trip to Bangkok.
