“exemplary hotel”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Having stayed in many hotels worldwide it seems to me most upmarket hotels in Thailand are way ahead of the rest when it comes to service and meeting the guest requirements. Having recently returned a short stay at the Landmark Hotel Bangkok I can say to find a better hotel anywhere in the world would be difficult unless of course you are willing to pay extortionate rates.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent although I would suggest a high floor at the back. My favourite is a corner...

I stay 2nd time this year and like it, even though at first hotel looks bit outdated. Located right at the heart of live and busy district, just 50 meters away from Nana station. Rooms are renovated, but room doors shall be replaced to assure better sound separation, noise from adjacent rooms can disturb, if one is very sensitive to it.

Good location, but bad breakfast. Staff were unfriendly. Had to PAY for Internet at a five star hotel. Happy hour was pretty good, but paid $17 USD for a sandwich! So expensive! Rooms are old and tattered and tiny, but they still charged $200 USD for a 3-star room! So not five star!

I have just spent a week at The Landmark Hotel, and I will definitely be staying there on all my future visits to Bangkok.

I was given one of the Club Rooms up on the 22nd floor, and what a pleasure. No noise from the bustling Sukhumvit Road. The room has a separate lounge and en-suite bathroom, and everything is top of the range. You have wi-fi access if needed. The bed is the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. We arrived at the hotel just after 7am, and were allowed an earlier check-in than the one that had already been arranged.

The breakfast buffet in the Atrium Restaurant was incredible, catering for all tastes.

The staff are tuned in to everything that you may need; they are super attentive and helpful.

The hotel is centrally situated, and the BTS skytrain station is but a few minutes walk from the hotel.

I stayed in LANDMARK for one of the official event in June 2013. It is a good business hotel with excellent banquet services and some nice restaurants. The Chef prepared special Indian Cuisine for our group and that speaks about their hospitality & concern to guest choice. As such they need to redo their lobby decore which looks bit old but rooms are nicer, large sized & having all required amenities.

Dear Guest

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel following your recent stay with us.

I am sorry that you found our wifi charge at 200 baht to be excessive. We have found that a lot of our guests request their rates to be transparent and in offering a very competitive rate, we list these services as a seperate item as, based on what our guests tell us, not everybody uses them.
Therefore we don't wish our guests to have to pay uncessarily. However, we do take on board your comments regarding this and thank you for taking the time to share them with us.

Thank you for highlighting the friendliness of the staff and I do hope we will be able to welcome you back to the hotel in the very near future

The public and entry areas of this hotel show their age but the renovated rooms (all?) and conference facilities are very good. The hotel forms part of an average shopping centre and I find this co-located style of hotel annoying as it detracts from the security and service for the hotel. That said, I was very pleased with the room. It is not a five star chain nor a Bangkok tourist venue but a good blend of both. Breakfast was good.

Room Tip: Make sure it is one of the renovated rooms
