We received the Long Stay Package as we booked for 7 days. The package was unbelievable, we received transport both ways from the airport, upgraded to a deluxe corner room, breakfast and club floor benefits.
The room was large and very comfortable it wasn't renovated however it had a flat screen t.v. and very well maintained.
The down side to the floor we were on and all the unrenovated floors are the corridors, they are horrible, horrible mustard coloured wall paper.
That being said the attention to detail was incredible, we must have been on a smoking floor as there was an ashstray full of sand by the lifts, every day the sand was embossed with the hotels logo. As part of the turn down service a starched cotton mat was placed by the bed with the slippers on it.
The buffet breakfast was the most extensive and best that I have ever had. Far better than the Mandarin Oriental, that we stayed at at the end of our holidays.
We ate quite a few meals at the hotel as the quality was good and reasonably inexpensive.
the cakes were exquisite. We did not eat at the steak restaurant upstairs though as a steak cost over $100 aud, we mainly ate outside on The Terrace and at the Huntsman Pub downstairs.
We found the service amazing, only slightly below the Mandarin Oriental and incredible value at around $133 aud a...We received the Long Stay Package as we booked for 7 days.
