I had two overnight stays at this property this year and couldn't be happier with the facilities, the staff etc.
The hotel is well located close to Lumpini Park, next door to a 7-11 if you need to pick up snacks and close to the BTS.
The restaurant does a good job on breakfast and I also found the service and quality for my one dinner to be very good.
On my first stay I was upgraded to a Suite (outstanding in size and quality) and on the other to a King Delux which had all the same amenities without the second bath.
Definitely a hotel I would recommend for anyone staying in that area of Bangkok.More

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location

I had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza. It is in a perfect location and easy to walk around or take the BTS to other locations. There are many places to eat and shop close to the hotel. They have a wonderful breakfast with a nice view of the city. The staff is wonderful, check-in and check-out was very easy. The pool is a very cozy area to cool down on a hot day.

Excellent Service

We stayed in this hotel for a few days at the end of a trip to Thailand. The hotel is conveniently situated near to Lumphini Park and very close to a sky-train station.
We stayed in a room on the Club floor with lounge access. On the Club floor, breakfast is included along with food and drink in the evening. The room was very big, immaculately clean with good bathroom facilities. I was very impressed by the excellent standard of service given by the staff in the Club lounge - ranks as one of the best I have experienced over the many years I have traveled throughout the world. I was very appreciative of being given a daily laundry allowance of 500 Baht - particularly useful at the end of a long vacation.
We choose to take breakfast in the main restaurant where the variety of dishes on offer was vast. I was delighted that "English" bacon (back bacon) was included whereas most hotels only offer streaky bacon.
I have visited Bangkok on a number of occasions and stayed in a number of different hotels but, based on my experience of this stay, this will now be my hotel of choice on any future visits.

Room tip: The services offered on the Club floor are worth the additional cost

Fantastic as usual

This is my second time staying at the Crowne Plaza Lumpini Park. Got a free upgrade and a welcome drink upon arrival. The rooms are huge, comfortable and recently renovated. Breakfast is amazing and the staffs are friendly. Location is so convenient as it is located at the intersection of Silom Metro and Saladaeng BTS... Will not hesitate to recommend this property to my friends.

Great Location

The room is comfortable, clean and brightly lighted. The bathroom is well-lighted and clean. The breakfast is good. It has a lot of variety catering to everyone. Service was good! The location of the hotel is a short walking distance to Sala Daeng BTS and a shopping mall. It is very convenient to have lunch/dinner there as there are good restaurants in the mall.

Fantastic Hotel

We stayed in Bangkok for 3 nights on our trip to Thailand as something we thought we should do while being over here.
After being in Patong and coming to the big city it was quiet a change, but that's what the big city is all about.
This hotel was every thing an more. It is obviously a higher priced accommodation but it was well worth it. We purchased our accommodation through Trivago and waited till the deals were on so we got great value with this hotel.
The staff were extremely efficient and willing to please all requests. The conceirge was outstanding, he showed us all the things we could do and see, and even explained how we could get ripped off on the street, which if he hadn't bought to our attention we surly would have as it was tried numerous times, but being aware of this helped so much. His English was excellent, being able to convey everything that was well understood compared to other parts of the hotel staff.
The rooms are exceptional, the buffet breakfast was huge and outstanding, with such a wide range something to please everyone.
The hotel itself was excellent, but i think 3 days in Bangkok was long enough and I've seen it now and although we are coming back to Thailand again i don't think we will visit Bangkok again.
