The hotel and the restaurants are very attractive, and the service is impeccable, the food is very good, even the room service food.
HOWEVER::: We have stayed at many first class hotels around the world with prices for the rooms comparable to Mandarin's, but we have never seen prices for additional services and food as exorbitant as here.
One really surprising and aggravating fee is US$ 25 per day for very bad and unreliable WiFi internet connectionh
Therefore we warn against staying at this hotel if the managment doesn't change the pricing policy and internet facility quality.
Furthermore, the sleeping quality suffers from an antiquated bed clothes practice.
In this respect the hotel should learn, as hotels in Vietnam have and scandinavian countries have practiced for ages, to use the bed clothes where the duvet is enclosed in a closed sheet envelope so that direct and unsanitary contact with the duvet is avoided and there is no mess with a top sheet, bottom sheet and intermediate duvet getting entertwined.
