We stayed at the Dusit for three nights en route to Koh Samui. This was our first time in Bangkok and we found the Dusit to be a delight. It's right by the sky train and this give you easy access to the river and all the main attractions. The room was comfortable and well appointed.
The breakfast was excellent, loads of different choices to choose from. They have a nice bar and all in it has everything you would want fron a city break hotel.
If you see teh concierge he will sell yu tickets to the Muay Thai for 2000THB and will arrange a cab to the stadium for you (150THB) these tickets are well worth the money. They give you a sticker which the staff spot and they take you straight in, ringside, superb..
If I were returning to Bangkok I would stay there again.More
