Beautiful hotel, room modern, well furnished and immaculately clean. Wide range of restaurants and prices, The Thai food in the Pavillion restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced.

Large park and lake opposite hotel with "Large" monitor lizards roaming (hence no ducks). local restaurants and shops close by suitable for purchasing reasonably priced night cap.

This is a genuine 5* hotel and therefore wine + drinks fairly expensive but if you like asian food dining in the hotel is very reasonable and all restaurants very attractive with excellent service.

This is an excellent 5* hotel and highly recommended.

Stayed at the Hotel only overnight and could not experience most of what the hotel had to offer. The room I stayed in was very well designed and layouted and gave a very homely feel and gave very good 'vibe'. Had dinner at the D'Sens and it has a breathtaking view!

Will definitely stay again and try some of the other outlets and services the hotel has to offer.

Visited Bangkok again and stayed here for 2nd time. Hotel is located at Silom Road, about 40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport (off-peak) and taxi cost you about 380 baht. There is a night market just opposite the hotel which you can get some local stuff. However, you will need plenty of bargaining skill. Restaurants, pubs, massage joints, local hawkers and 7-11 are in abundance.
Room is at tower block (different setup from my previous stay at the wing) is well-appointed and modern. Bed is very comfortable, good selection of TV channels, internet is inclusive and free (simple) fruit basket. Breakfast is local + continental and variety is good. Check-in and check-out is a tad too slow for my liking. Somehow, I feel that the wing block reception is more efficient and courteous.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Dusit Thani Hotel. The service was outstanding. Every single member of the staff, from housekeeping to reception, poolboy. driver, waiters was very skilled, helpful and trying to fulfill every wish of yours even before you know you had it. The service deserves 6* in my opinion. The atmosphere and the design is of charming thai colonial style, especially the lobby and the café in the lobby is beautiful but there are a few things that were not up to the rest of the standard of the hotel. The pool is too small, the ceilings in some of the rooms are too low, so when I was standing in the bathtub to take a shower my head almost touched the ceiling (it was just a matter of a few cms) and the breakfast buffet place's decoration is not the one of a 5* hotel, also, the choice could have been wider for breakfast and the tea was served in metal pots. The bistro kind of tables are too nineties with their coloured grantite and here the ceiling is too low, too to let you feel really relaxed. Also not all the rooms have had a full renovation yet, so even though we had an upgrade, you could see the age of the tables and closets. All in all this is a very good hotel and because of the lovely service and great location I will come back, but it needs some renovation work.

On behalf of the management and staff of the Dusit Thani Bangkok, I would like to thank you very much for your positive review. We are all delighted you had an enjoyable stay and for your generous compliments about our 6* service.

Regarding the "Buts", we have noted your comments about the furniture and decor in some rooms and restaurants. Some of our restaurants have been recently redesigned and we have plans for future renovation and refurbishment.

We aim to provide a wide range of cuisine at breakfast buffet, but considering your comments, we will consider ways to improve and expand the selection.

Although the pool area is limited, we try to create a unique, relaxing atmosphere with the tropical garden surroundings.

Thank you very much for your comments, which help us to improve. Please remember that Dusit Thani Bangkok has an active Facebook page where you can share your memorable experiences, pictures, news and reviews of our hotel. We look forward to welcoming you back at Dusit Thani Bangkok very soon.

Thats all I can say really, the Hotel is exquisite, the staff are friendly and the breakfast buffet is out of this world! The high tea room is devine as is the outside bar area. I could have stayed inside all day and felt like I was in the lap of luxury.
