There are many reasons for booking at Lebua: the views, the restaurants, the movie fame to name just a few. For each, there are at least 2 reasons that will make you return.

I will start with an unexpected surprise: the breakfast. Imagine 3 large restaurant rooms of excessively varied buffet options for Asian, European, Arabic, Indian etc. etc. specialities. Toaster? No. They will toast your choice of 11 different bread types in their wood-fired stone oven, and they employ a guy whose only job is to glaze your ham.

The hotel is a large enterprise, but we felt exclusive in the treatment and attention we received. We stayed in a river-facing suite on the 56th floor (next to the Hangover suite) and the views from the superb balcony are spectacular. The room was very large and comfortable. I definitely recommend spending at least one night in to dine at the Dome. It is on the expensive side but the food is excellent, especially if you like avant-garde combinations. Catch the fireworks while you're up there too. Mr. Chow would want you to.

All in all, we loved our stay in this hotel. So much in fact that I chose it to propose to my –now- fiancée and they were extremely collaborative to help me organise it properly. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: The views from the higher floors on the river are spectacular.

Stayed here after checking out of another hotel I had booked after receiving very bad service. I thought that the fantastic Thai hospitality may have been lost in Bangkok as my experience of the people was very different to that I had previously on my travels to some islands.
But my faith was restored when I stayed at Lebua. Friendly and efficient check in, they upgraded me to a suite! Had lunch at level M - lovely but the price of drinks (coke and water!) is just nuts!! 10 euro for a bottle of water and 7 euro for a can of coke!)That spoils it a bit to be honest.
But the room was fab - overlooking the river and the city. Stunning.
Great breakfast selection. Love how the toast the bread in an open fire oven!
Would I go bk - yes! But I'd buy my drinks in a 7-11!

This hotel was truly beautiful! We stayed here for our last night in Thailand and splashed out! We also went for dinner in the sirocco restaurant, the food was pricy but like nothing we've tasted before! it was heaven! The views were amazing from the restaurant and the hotel room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly! We had a late night flight to catch the following day and the staff were happy for us to leave our bags in a secure room and use the facilities until we needed them. The breakfast was outstanding, it had everything you could ask for. Fantastic choices. Great place to spend our last night in Thailand.

We stayed two nights at Lebua. It was a special occasion celebrating thirty years of married life. The reception and welcome was very professional and warm. So much care was taken to make it very impressive. The staff went into all the details and explained all about the service, suite and restaurants. I was surprised when the front office manager came to greet and welcome us.

Coming on to the suite, we were upgraded and it was a pleasant surprise. Nonetheless it was not even mentioned to us. It was awesome to be on the fifty second floor. The suite was so gorgeous with an amazing ambiance and finesse. Then came the out of the world breakfast buffet. Was a feast. We indulged in them though we were not surprised having read the reviews. Remembered how the kings ate in their palaces in the old days. Obviously felt we were treated so, at least while we were in the restaurant.

We had a surprise when we were invited for canapes in the company of the chefs. This too was a novel experience to get to know them and to experience their creativity. There were few couples like us probably celebrating similar occasions. The sky bar was the most memorable experience. However the only disappointment was when we were not allowed to take photos. Obviously there are reasons for it. From a guests point it is very negative as its all about experiences and there memories. Great stuff, compliments to all the staff whom we met and and didn't. Hope we are able to come again. For sure we will market Lebua to all our friends. No regrets in selecting Lebua.

I have gone back and forth trying to rate this hotel, a 4 or 5 star. I have decided its a 4.5 star. Overall, very nice hotel, but the room furniture and fixtures are a bit dated. The AC rocks and is one of the best I have ever encountered in a tropical climate. The breakfast bar was also one of the nicest I have ever seen and I got my fill there. Internet works fine, but it was annoying that you had to constantly re-connect. The pool on the 12th floor was ok, but the towels looked like they were 15 years old. The bar on the roof was cool, great views, but severely overpriced. I think a beer was $12, the most I have ever paid for one, including expensive Japan! This hotel was also quite pricey, but depending on the package you get, it can be worth it. Having said that, it is probably in the top 5% of most expensive hotels in the city. Lots of tourists stopping by each night to witness the Hangover filming location up top. If this hotel did some renovation to update the rooms and did a few other small things, it would have been a 5 star. If you get a decent price for a room, I give it a thumbs up! Taxi fare from the airport was about 450-600 Baht, depending on if you pay tolls or driver does....about 20 min ride with no traffic. Lots of places within a block or two to get messages....ranging from 300-900 Baht and hour....

I stayed only one night here.
I checked in at 22:00.Our located was business twin room but they suggested club floor for 1800bat/night.So we decided to up grade the room.
But we didn't know the club lounge is already closed. But they accept late cheack out complementaly.
So,we could enjoy club lounge and pool.

The room was very nice, big room, comfortable bed, nice view from the balcony.
Breakfast was pretty good.
We really enjoyd to stay at this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights, we had read plenty of reviews to know that we will have to wait for the room to be ready so I had scheduled to reach later than the check in time. Though we still had to wait by the pool for more than an hour (Free snacks kind of made it up for that). After that hiccup it was a very good experience all the way. The room was great, amazing view of the city and river (recommend the river view room). View from the Skybar and the ambiance is superb, though its pretty expensive. We still ended up having cocktails everyday at the Skybar to feel a part of Hangover..haha. There are a lot of tourist who drop in late in the evening so elevators and the bar can get crowded. The staff manages it well though restricting people from taking pics from the "hangover stairs". Taxis were readily available. The staff and service is good. Breakfast spread is never ending. Will love staying at Lebua again.

Room Tip: River view room for sure
