“Luxury modern”

A modern hotel, a great all white large bedroom.feels very comfortable. Ver friendly and helpful staff. Lots of smiling which is such a nice change. Beautiful breakfast, so much choice. Dinner in the Scarlett restaurant on the 37th floor is wonderful, food superb and service second to none.
The hotel is central, very easy to get on the sky train or the metro, a great, clean way to travel. Easy access to the river for all the visits.

Room Tip: We were on the 25th floor, great view and close to the executive lounge on the 27th floor

I stayed for four nights, I got a super good deal, that was the main reason for choosing this hotel.

When I first pulled up, I did think 'oh is this it?' The driveway is very small and not the grand entrance you imagine fr Asian hotels! But once you're inside it's a different story.

The staff are all dressed in a very trendy way, and I don't envy the girls/boys job who it is to stand their all day and open the door, they never seemed to take a break! The lobby is small with a modern design, all the computers a Macs, there's macs for you to use, the conceirge have iPads etcetera....you get the idea!

Check in was quick and friendly, even though I checked in after 2pm I still had to wait ten minutes for a room. No problem though. When I got to my room....I couldn't believe how white it was! It's was large, airy, but everything was white. Everything. Their cleaning bill must be huge! Definitely not for families, it's just too white and modern. A separate bath and shower was a lovely surprise and the bathroom was a good size.

The lobby has a DJ in the evenings as the long desk that houses the concierge also doubles up as a bar, it's not loud and like a disco, but in the evenings there is a club soundtrack in the background.

Within walking distance are lots of restaurants and little shops, and a sky train. Lots of taxis going by, although not all of m knew the hotel, or if they did they knew it as its previous owner, the Sofitel.

Breakfast was the usual fare - small selection of Asian food then western with an egg station, cereal, hot food, bread, cold cuts, cheese etc etc.

If you like traditional style hotels, don't stay in the lead in room, they really are modern and minimalistic, definitely not to everyone's taste. I liked the youthful, hipstery vibe but it's not everyone cup of tea.

Reception area is modern and contemporary. Staff are friendly and professional. It's most innovative and slightly quirky - but in a good way.

I was in a white room which was very large and spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are great, views overlooking the BKK skyline are excellent.

Views from the bar from the 37th floor are spectacular. Atmosphere was also very good.

Overall a good quality hotel in a great location. I very much look forward to returning.

Room Tip: White rooms are very generous in size.

This year was our first visit after they changed from Sofitel to Pullman. The result is very good. The hotel was always very good but it seems that the service got even a little bit better under the new management (service was always good).
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed.
The price-performance ratio is amazing.
The whole atmosphere is very good.
The rooms are very good and new furnished.
Beds are super.
Bath rooms are great.
Everything is very clean.

Maybe I should mention that we always took the club rooms with separate check-in at the 27th floor.

This is a late review of a stay in January 2012.

As soon as we entered, and saw scaffolding, and closed off areas WITHIN the lobby, we knew we had made a huge mistake booking this hotel.

I understand that many hotels do it, but it is very bad practice not to inform your guests that rennovation activity is being undertaken throughout their stay.

The rooms were outdated, and the public areas of the hotel felt cramped.

The only positive was the Hermes bathroom amenities

We've stayed 4 nights at Pullman G.
From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. We had a small problem with our room and it was solved in two minutes. The Deluxe rooms have been renovated and they look brand new and always clean.
The restaurant on the 37th floor is a great place to see the sunset , sit and have some drinks or a full meal.
We want to give a special mention to Alvaro, one of the welcomers, he was very friendly, profesional and helpful.
We're leaving the hotel today and I'm looking forward to coming back here in our next visit to Bangkok.

Room Tip: We had the chance of seeing the Executive rooms and we liked the Deluxe better. Very modern looking...
