I had a great experience here. Very nice location, in a peaceful area with a lot of restaurants around. Hotel is not new but the room i got it was nice and very cosy. The swimming pool was ok and they were refurbishing the gym. Great breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel for over 10 years.

Everyone from khun Tham at reception to Ms Nooner in sales are superb.

Love it and would recommend it to everyone .

Some people say a little out of the way but that is what makes it perfect

Staying at Le Chateau de Bangkok. Got an upgrade upon chek in. Room awesome, staff friendly, always smiling and helpful. Not expensive at all. Hotel got a pool on the roof and gym, spa, steam room, sauna. It is beyond our expectation. Location excellent too.... lots of yummy street food around and even has a supermarket within walking distance which never close. Regarding the electricity failure, well the hotel did inform us about it, and it was no big deal at all, we still could enjoy the pool. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in bangkok, i will definitely recommend this hotel. and yes, breakfast is awesome... american breakfast and again staff always smiling, breakfast available as from 6.30, so very convenient if you have to leave hotel early.

If you expect a new and fancy hotel, you've come to the wrong place! This hotel is far from new, but still offers a quite nice product. Stayed at this hotel 8 times over the years. Several room categories, think I've stayed in all. It's an apartment hotel so within each category I find each room type to be spacious and comfortable. The design of the rooms are ok, good layout, all rooms has a "walkin closet". If you're 3 or 4 persons travelling together the 2 bedroom apartment is quite nice, though it might be cheaper to book two studio rooms. There are cooking facilities in the 1 bedroom apartment, and the 2 bedroom apartment for those on longer stays.

During my last stay here during the summer of 2012 they had refurbished the gym, made a spa and freshened up the pool area. Used the gym which is now quite ok for a hotel gym. The rooftop pool is in the sun all day and has great view of the Bangkok skyline, feels like you're sitting in the middle of it. Never had breakfast at the hotel, but had lunch a few times. Once they had a promo, 5 courses for 250 THB, was a bargain! The pizza is nice too.

I prefer getting around Bangkok by skytrain during the day, closest skytrain station is a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. The Conrad hotel is located on the opposite side of the road which could be handy if the taxi driver isn't familiar with this hotel.

I've always liked the staff at this hotel, they've always made me feel very welcome, and remembered me as I stayed here quite frequently for a while. What's more welcoming than being greeted with "welcome home Mr Knutsen" ?

There are lots of fancy hotels at an affordable rate in Bangkok, what made me come back to this one several times was the good value for money. Spacious room, friendly staff and a great pool at a very affordable rate. Sadly this hotel is no longer a part of the Accor family, which Is the reason I haven't stayed here in a while.

Review on the hotel here were all good that's why i booked the hotel. however this is the most terrible hotel i have ever experienced in my life
-location: location is good and the BTS station nearby is in the center of BBK. but if i were you, i would book the novotel right next to the station
-hotel staff: most of them are all very nice and helpful but when there comes the problem their internal communication is terrible and they are not capable to delivery good service. not to mention some of the staff is really rude and impatient to answer your questions over the phone
-cleanliness: they hotel is dirty and old. the shower equipment is super dirty and terrible and they didnt check if all the equipment work well before letting you to check in. and then you have to call and wait and wait and move and move again
-wifi: cannot believe in this world there is such hotel still charge for wifi service
-no electricity: can you believe in this world there is such hotel which can be out of electricity for a whole day and without proper notification to the customers?

We stayed he for 2 nights at the beginning of our Thai adventure. Met up with our family who had come down from Ayutthaya to meet us. We had a 2 bedroom apartment that was vy comfortable, clean and spacious. Location was ideal for sightseeing around Bangkok. Hotel pool is great, and just what we needed at the end of a sweltering day of sightseeing. Staff were super helpful and went out of their way to help us. Had a great meal at the hotel restaurant, food and service was excellent. A great value centrally located hotel.

I was very surprised by this hotel, it really is a lovely property, the rooms are spacious and the staff very helpful. The reason I say surprised is because we were on a two week trip and spent most of our money on a flash hotel in Koh Samui. That being said we booked this as a " cheaper" option in Bangkok (equivalent £35 pppn). We really loved the hotel, lovely rooms including a modern bathroom, great room service, helpful staff and a good location, surrounded by other reputable Hotels... When we are back in Bangkok we will be staying here...
