After a remodel it looks very nice inside although it smells strange. The staff are reserved but helpful if you ask the right question. The rooms are large and clean with wifi. It is just that it has no real personality It seems that mostly business men stay there. The night life outside is busy with many young women looking desirable. Restaurants are not great on that street although there is a popular Italian restaurant across the street it is mediocre. I guess for business and with a discount it is fine and BTS PromPong station is very close.

This place needs a bit of TLC. It is OK if you get a cheap rate but there are many newer hotels all around. The staff are very good and helpful. The Wi-Fi was terrible, for the first time in years I had to connect via a cable to have internet access. The restaurant looked very average.

Location is good. Near BTS and Emporium, with some restaurants nearby.
The hotels is a bit old and cannot compare with modern standard.
Not all staff speak can speak English well and lack of smile.
Besides, I reserved a room with one Bed and they assigned me with a twin bed room without explanation and apology. Even they noticed I am a platimum member of accor hotels but I still not have the service standard I expected.
Quite a big different comparing with another stay a month ago in VIE.

the stay was in general good and staff friendly. The location is convenient close to BTS and walking distance to Terminal 21. The price is VERY CHEAP for what you have.
2 drawbacks: my credit card was not accepted to pay the deposit but was accepted to pay the bill at the end of the stay (first time it happened in Bangkok). My left bed light was broken so it opened/close several times in the middle of the night.
Also, breakfast can really be improved.

We have stayed there before under the brand of NOVOTEL - because it is opposit our norwegian embassy! It was totally changed and should wear the name OLD DELHI!
The main restaurant 9th floor had terrible indian LIVE music and full of turbans ...
the other restaurant 8th floor had only china-food ..

Maybe OK for Indians - but NO PLACE FOR COWBOYS!
They should have told that europeans were totally competed ...
Our room maybe very OK for the new Customers; nothing worked - until Service Personnell came. I still have doubt about the aircondition ...

Room Tip: From 20th to 30th floor you get an overview of Bangkok - thats all ...

Dear Guest,

As a long standing International Hotel in Sukhumvit, the hotel welcomes guest from all across the globe, regardless of nationality.

In regards to your comments regarding Coco’s Café, It has for over 17 years been a well-established Indian and International Restaurant famous in Bangkok for its cuisine, and also features live entertainment.

Xing Fu Located on level 8 is a Award Winning Cantonese restaurant, and we receive constant positive feedback from our guests who experience the restaurant, indeed you can reads this feedback in Tripadvisor.

It is regrettable that you found both our feature restaurants cuisine not for your liking to try. The hotel however also offers a Extensive In room Dining menu as well an extensive A La Carte Menu at Le Boulanger in the Lobby.

The hotel also offers one of Bangkok’s most vibrant Soi’s on your doorstep with an extensive selection of Bars, restaurants and clubs.

In relation to your room, I understand you are referring to the energy saving devices that only activate once your room key is inserted. This is quite a common device in hotels and as you commented our staff were more than happy to assist where you had difficulties in operating this device. I hope you can appreciate that our energy saving device is a pro-active step the hotel takes in Managing its environmental impact.

Again thank you for your feedback.
