Booked a standard room and was upgraded to the largest room through Accor Plus. Great located hotel close by to facilities such as Terminal 21. Massive rooms which are much more like an apartment than a hotel and are fully equipped with many items and useful necessities. For longer stays in Bangkok, this hotel represents great value for money and is close by to all the major sites that the area offers.

Stayed here for 3 nights after moving here from another hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower adequate, aircon worked well, and the hotel is well located, being very close to the Phra Ram 9 train station. The staff were all found to be very helpful, organizing taxi's and answering questions, opening the front door for you, or serving coffee at breakfast, they were all wonderful. I never saw the cleaners that cleaned the rooms, but they did an outstanding job. Breakfast was well catered with a large selection of food available. Although I was in the 17th floor, I could still hear the noise of the traffic but it did not worry me after the first night. (Although looking at the floor numbering in the lift I'm not sure what happened to floors 4 - 10, they seem to be missing). There are lots of shopping centers nearby, and plenty of food choices. Will definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Maybe rooms at the back might be quieter.

Dear RuthS529
Greetings from Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review. We were happy to hear that you were comfortable and your kind words are much appreciated.
Thank you in particular for taking the trouble to highlight the many positive aspects of your stay, which was kind of you.
With regard to the car park: actually floors 4 to 10 do exist but are used for car parking and administration areas. Unlike most other cities where car parks tend to be located below ground, you will find that in Bangkok highrise buildings a few floors above ground floor level are usually allocated to car parking.
Great to hear that you may be back soon: we look forward to welcoming you back in the hopefully not too distant future.
Kind regards

I only got the name of one of the workers but his name was Chanchai, i think he was the bell captain. The pool was under renovation so he shuttled me and my gf do a sister hotel down the street to swim and pick us back up when needed. Hotel is pretty inside and all the staff are very helpful. Chanchai went out of his way to help us during our stay get our bags, and the other workers helped me change my flight bookings.

Stayed at this hotel again in this trip. The service of Lucky, Fon, Tou, Oily and Earn was great as usual at the lounge. The food there is getting better as well. BTW, their bakery and cookies are very good. I look forward to visiting there again.
