the hotel has gone through complete refurbishment, the rooms are amazingly spaciours and elegently appionted, i stayed at the club level the club lounge is excellent and worth spending the amount on club level, the service is excellent the staff is very friendly and helpful

Intercontinental Bangkok, is my fav in Bangkok. It is located in the heart of Bangkok & all the best shopping malls are a hands distance away. I also love the night club inside the hotel, it has great music & some really good selection of drinks. I also love the multiciusine restuarant there. Its a five star hotel with the best of service, staff & food!

Stayed here a couple of nights in January - the best location in Bangkok. Large rooms, very modern, very businesslike, excellent food and beautiful views.

It used to be the old Royal Meridien before this group took it over. Dont even think about it! Its the best.

Great buffets - very beautiful small pool on the terrace, classy property.

I stayed in a Club Room for 4 days in early January. The hotel was undergoing renovations so lobby was boarded up and no access to pool. This was dissappointing us we enjoy a swim after daily activities in the Bangkok heat. On the last day of our stay we noticed a very strong smell of thinner or varnish as we set out in the morning. Upon return that afternoon the smell was in our room and very strong. This was no doubt associated with the renovations taking place in the hotel. We called and within minutes a manager arrived and apologised and offered another room. We really did not want to move so he agreed to put an air purifier and open the windows. he also agreed to arrange limo transfers for us the next day to the airport. When we returned the smell had gone, the window was closed and a gift of chocolates was left. Next morning we recived VIP treatment on checkout and the limosine transfer to the airport. Sometimes the test of a good hotel is how they handle problems and in this case we could not fault their approach. The hotel gets numerous accolades for their customer service through this site and our experience confirms this. The rooms, club lounge and food are all of a high standard. I believe the person who manged our complaint was Adanaan and he was very professional.

Stayed there with my son on the way back from Koh Samui holidays. As usual when I stay at an Interconti (visited more than 30 around the world!), my expectations were high. In Bangkok, they were actually met. But I had a feeling of something impersonal, which is awkward in Thailand.
Speedy and efficient check in, upgraded to a large room with a nice view on the club floor. The lounge was great. The swimming pool on the roof, nice. Food was good and price decent.
Overall, I was satisfied and might go back if I am in Bangkok on business.
