Another area for shopping in Bangkok. Open-air market whixh is more luxury though as it is clean, most of the shops have air-condition and the prices are also little bit higher. Separated area to eat. There is also ferris wheel - I’ve been there at night and unfortunately it is not worth its price.

After visiting the temples, markets and eating in the streets of Bangkok, Asiantique gives you a chance to experience many traditional things and activities in a more ordered and less exhuberant way. You can find markets, restaurants, insect snacks, traditional Thai puppets show, a Ferris Wheeler and more. The ambiance is very modern but it remains authentic. Prices in the stores are good, the same as street markets. A must visit in Bangkok.

I just happened upon this place by chance looking for a specific souvenir. I happened upon a restaurant with seats with a good view of the river with a very extensive seafood menu. The battered squid and crab fried rice were very good. The lemonade was so good I ordered a second. A free ferry shuttle brought me back to Sathorn Pier where the long lines of people waiting to board caused the title of this review. Plan on being there before 5:30pm and leaving by 7.

We took a ferry ride to Asiatique and it was awesome ! The place is a real tourist shopping heaven and one may just lost track of time shopping from one zone to another. It is like a big maze, and best if one could get a map before starting of or else you will end up going in circles . Plenty of good food available as well. Do spend at least half a day here to enjoy the ambience and food. shopping starts in the evening 6pm onwards.

Everything here felt rehearsed and artificial. You are bound to be captivated by the beauty of the mall though. The mall is beautiful and offers beautiful views of the Chao Praya river. There are free boat rides to the mall from the BTS so it wouldn't hurt to give it 3 hours of your time- especially at sunset when you can enjoy all the beautiful views

Anything that looks or smells like a mall in Thailand should be avoided. Just another trap of consumism. You have balls at home, right? Don’t waste your time here

The atmosphere at night was impressive and there are many good restaurants with nice river view. You can try riding the largest Ferris wheel in Thailand and see the river view from above. It can be crowded at night as well since it's a famous spot for both Thais and tourist alike.

Asiatique is worth a visit if you are in bangkok, quick and easy transport avaialble from saphan taksi(sathorn pier)- at times there are free boat rides which local goverment runs. Evening dinner or evening market stroll can be planned. Mostly filled with restaurants, shopping places and many more.

It's one of the best tourist destinations in Bangkok- a sort of one stop shop for all that a visitor to Bangkok needs. Great riverside view and a lovely waterfront to enjoy the evening breeze, good food, good shopping, good entertainment (Thai boxing and cabret), great children's amusement area, dinner cruises. I've always enjoyed an evening with all my guests here. Very convenient, once you are there. Sometimes, getting there can be a bit of a damper due to bad traffic and long queues at the Asiatique boat pier from Saphan Taksin, But it's a 'must go'.

With lot of food stalls and restaurants to choose, and with cheap souvenir and local shops, I can say that this is my favorite place in Bangkok so far. This place offers free shuttle ferry to or from Sathorn Pier, just beneath the BTS Saphan Taksin.
