Everything here felt rehearsed and artificial. You are bound to be captivated by the beauty of the mall though. The mall is beautiful and offers beautiful views of the Chao Praya river. There are free boat rides to the mall from the BTS so it wouldn't hurt to give it 3 hours of your time- especially at sunset when you can enjoy all the beautiful views

Anything that looks or smells like a mall in Thailand should be avoided. Just another trap of consumism. You have balls at home, right? Don’t waste your time here

The atmosphere at night was impressive and there are many good restaurants with nice river view. You can try riding the largest Ferris wheel in Thailand and see the river view from above. It can be crowded at night as well since it's a famous spot for both Thais and tourist alike.

Asiatique is worth a visit if you are in bangkok, quick and easy transport avaialble from saphan taksi(sathorn pier)- at times there are free boat rides which local goverment runs. Evening dinner or evening market stroll can be planned. Mostly filled with restaurants, shopping places and many more.

It's one of the best tourist destinations in Bangkok- a sort of one stop shop for all that a visitor to Bangkok needs. Great riverside view and a lovely waterfront to enjoy the evening breeze, good food, good shopping, good entertainment (Thai boxing and cabret), great children's amusement area, dinner cruises. I've always enjoyed an evening with all my guests here. Very convenient, once you are there. Sometimes, getting there can be a bit of a damper due to bad traffic and long queues at the Asiatique boat pier from Saphan Taksin, But it's a 'must go'.

With lot of food stalls and restaurants to choose, and with cheap souvenir and local shops, I can say that this is my favorite place in Bangkok so far. This place offers free shuttle ferry to or from Sathorn Pier, just beneath the BTS Saphan Taksin.

Same as most other Thai markets - nothing original. Lots of froth and noise.
Take a river cruise instead.

Very expensive food and for nothing, since the thai street food is exquisite and so cheap!
Don’t waste your time! If you would like some authentic experiences with stuff to buy and good food to eat, I recommend Chatuchak Market.

Asiatic have free boat shuttle from Sakan Taksin bts station. Romantic place with view to the river. However the prices are very high at the restaurant, food was so so for that prices. We tried ferry wheel, 400 thb for 5 rounds..expensive as the wheel is small..many boutiques selling souvenirs, clothes..again..expensive..but great views of bangkok through the river.

My husbund and I took the line to get a taxi when we go out the asiatique. They said the taxi will use the taximetre and he will know where we go.
Just when we left asiatique park the taxi stop and said that he had to call to know where was our hotel. After he said that it was too far and asked for a big price, we had to negociate the price and he did not used the taximetre and we said we wanted it. When we were in the way the taxi saw some police stop and immediatly he turn on the taximetre, after he turned it off.
It is not right and as turists we waited more respect when we take a line and got a taxi in an autorized place!
It happened tonight and the taxi was 1XB 1341.
I send an email to asiatique, but they didn’t do nothing
