We booked to go here for our anniversary and it didnt disappoint.

The staff greeted us and made us feel very comfortable though if there is a critisim is they were too eager and needlessly fiddling with items our table such as moving the salt pot to the other hand of the table whilst we ate.

The food came out well presented and very tasty , whilst it was expensive it was much cheaper then the lebua where we were staying.

Had a great meal and cocktails.

I work in Bangkok's central business district and, together with my colleagues, am always looking for a place that does good cocktails or wine and also serves decent appetizers. Scarlett is sleek, chic but unpretentious and the views are spectacular.

Those looking for a lighter meal can select a choice of cheeses and cold cuts from a counter. The daily specials have been fresh, tasty and well-presented each time we have been with friends. The staff could be a little more attentive, but are still a cut above most Bangkok high-end restaurants who mostly seem to employ vapid staff. The foreign manager is charming, helpful and will suggest wines that suit your food and budget, rather than just suggesting the most expensive bottle on the menu.

This is a once a month treat type of place as a three course meal with a bottle of wine will easily set you back almost 3,000 THB ($100) per person. The decor feels like a french bistro, with modern touches. Overall, always a pleasant experience. There's a balcony and outdoor seating for those who want to have a cigarette pre or post meal.

We came here for our last night in Bangkok as a treat. Arrived just before sunset, had perfect seat outside at the bar area (which quickly filled up). Great atmosphere, very tasteful, but not so posh that it stopped us going (we were both wearing converse trainers-no flip flops allowed though). Cocktails were delicious and very reasonable. The tapas (we had two cheeses and the chorizo) was lovely. For 4 cocktails, and 3 plates of tapas the bill came to about 1500 baht. We considered this very reasonable considering just how nice everything was. Absolutely incredible view. Great service. Well worth going.

We sat outside and there are fantastic views across Bangkok. I recommend arriving before sunset so you can see the city turn from day into night. We had the tapas menu and the food was perfectly nice, although nothing particularly outstanding. I actually enjoyed the cheese more than the prepared dishes. The bread was fantastic and I would have enjoyed eating that alone for dinner! Had a very reasonably priced bottle of wine. Most of all we enjoyed the atmosphere as it got later and became very busy. The service was also very good. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a tasty and well made dinner here. Not too expensive (though expensive for Bangkok) with great service and a well stocked bar. The bartenders are good at their job and the view is, in my mind, more pleasant than the state tower (although the entry isn't as striking) since it is much more relaxed and the drinks are light years better made and lower priced.

Remember that this is the Pullman Hotel, which used to be a Sofitel. There are two Pullmans in Bangkok and you want to go to the right one. Street numbers aren't really used by taxis here, so Silom road and a few landmarks may help the driver. Reference any nearby hotels. Call ahead to get outside on a busy weekend night.
