From the moment you enter this hotel, you feel that you are in an exclusive place...

Reception area, on the 24th floor, is very modern and beautiful and everybody is smiling, welcoming and efficient.

Our bedroom was big, clean, hyper comfortable with a very well-designed bathroom. Lots of amenities. Of course the view on the city is unforgettable.

The spa area is great (nice sauna, heatroom, lockers,…) but there is no word to describe the infinity pool and the feeling of flying over the buildings while having a swim!

Delicious and huge breakfast buffet.

The Up and Above restaurant offers thai and international meals which you can enjoy from their open-air terrace on the 24th floor. The thai specialties we chose were absolutely delicious. No need to mention that service was, as everywhere else in the hotel, perfect.

The BTS skytrain is located literally two minutes walk away, so we could reach any part of Bangkok very easily.

In one word: our stay was wonderful and we can't wait to come back!

Dear CarineBrussels,
Thank you for giving us such great feedback on your TripAdvisor review following your recent stay at our Bangkok property! We are delighted our location was of such a big plus to you on your recent trip and thank you too for your very kind comments with regards to our staff and the service we all provided. The pool certainly deserves a separate mention and we are not surprised you found this unique feature which is protruding out over Bangkok’s skyline as stunning. We regularly share such comments with the architect of this building which he always returns with a smile ! And thank you too for your amazing review of our Up&Above Restaurant, especially the breakfast! I have shared your kudos with the entire team!
We look forward to welcoming you back to The Okura Prestige on your next trip to Thailand.

Stayed as a couple.
Hotel location is good and a short walk to BTS. Cabs are easy to come by.
Reception is upstairs and not on ground floor. Quick efficient check in by multilingual staff who also speak Japanese.
Rooms are smallish for the price but space is well used and it doesn't feel cramped. Loved the warmed toilet seats and Japanese style hands free toilet!
Breakfast was huge and we were stuck for choice. It really overwhelmed us! Truly amazing breakfast.
We travel extensively and recognise a well run hotel when we see one. An oasis of calm pervades the hotel that sometimes, is just what you need to escape helter shelter Bangkok! Well done to the staff and management. Loved it!

Room Tip: Got corner suite with views of downtown bangkok from 2 sides of the room.

Great Hotel which impressed us as business travellers right from check in unit check out. Location is perfect connected to the Skytrain and close to Shopping malls & Night life. Also shops in the ground floor and around the hotel are excellent. This will definitely be our business hub for our South East Asian partners to meet as very convenient & great food. Great value for money!

Room Tip: Don't waste time choose the right room .. spend your leisure time at the sky bar & sky pool...

Dear Passie68,
Thank you very much for sharing your stay experience on TripAdvisor and reading that we will, from now on, be your business hub for your partners is a real compliment and we are more than thrilled to hear this. The hotel is indeed very centrally located with easy and direct access to Bangkok’s BTS train system. With a brand new mall now opening right opposite the hotel and with walkways connecting us directly, it will become even easier and more convenient for our clients.
We are all looking forward to welcoming you back in the New Year!
Sincerely yours

My husband and i stayed in this boutique hotel in the heart of Bangkok.
We stayed in a club room which was very nice, although it was on the small side. Good club lounge for a business traveler. Having stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels in bangkok it was a nice change and refreshing. Staff are very helpful, professional and welcoming especially Bob who is currently doing his management training and he is doing a fab job of it. Keep it up Bob! Good food especially the up and above restaurant. Good cocktail bar with lots of variety. The gym on the 25 floor is well equipped with the latest equipments and the rooftop infinity pool over looking the city is to die for although didn't have time to swim, looking forward to trying on our next visit. Easy access to the sky train to the shopping malls.
Will definitely come back here as this hotel is a bit of fresh air from your normal typical 5 star Bangkok hotel

Season’s Greetings to Worcester from Bangkok!
Thank you for your wonderful review! It’s such a pleasure to know when guests have taken advantage of different aspects of our Bangkok hotel, from Dining in Up&Above, our 33F Club Lounge, the cocktails at our outside bar and hearing that you have not managed to take a dip in our pool obliging you to return, is even better news! We love ensuring that our guests have special memories to take home with them and know that every little extra touch makes a difference. And of course I’ve shared your kudos with Bob who was thrilled to see his name being mentioned!
We hope to see you again soon!

There are many options in Bangkok. I have stayed at budget hotels and at 5 stars. But this is the place to be treated to luxury at a different level. It begins with the location; its very close to Sukhomvit Road; a major shopping area. The hotel shares its building with an office block that has just a handful of shops. However in there is tucked away a nice bakery that one must try. The rooms are well laid out and in true Japanese style, the WC is computer controlled!!! I have stayed in Japan but haven't found a single hotel that had these. They go the extra mile to make sleep comfortable; a kimono is left in the evening. And for non Japanese, this is a must try! There are other little things that make this hotel unique. Here is my list of favourites.

Courteous and helpful staff
Outstanding decor
Well laid out breakfast
Infinity swimming pool (black in colour)
Comfortable beds
A TRUE walk-in closet

Room Tip: Get the room that overlooks the pool. It has a clear view of the city. This is temporary since anoth...

Our stay was most enjoyable and the Club Lounge staff were very professional and super attentive. I stayed with two other girlfriends in a suite but I thought it aaas a bit cramped for a suite BUT...the modern architecture of the hotel and the pool was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our three days at the Okura. It is a quiet hotel away from all the hustle and bustle of the shops. Very relaxing stay we had.

Thank you for your very kind review and thank you even more for sharing your stay experience.

We are proud to be operating this Okura Hotel here in Thailand where we strive to combine Japanese efficiency with the gentleness of Thai hospitality.

I have also shared your kudos with our Okura Club Lounge team and we are thrilled you enjoyed their service! I am sorry that you felt that the suite you occupiedwas a bit too tight for 3 adults and I wish we could have had the oportunity to assign you a more comfortable unit during your stay.
As our building's exterior is uniquely shaped, we do have a dozen different room and suite types and our standard room size starts from 46 sq.m, all the way up to 302 sq.m. Please feel free to contact me directly (samir.wildemann@okurabangkok.com) for your next stay and I would be delighted to have you experience another suite layout than the one you most recently occupied.
