“Great, real Italian "fast"food”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

What a joy to find such an authentic Italian place so far away from Italy! This is the kind of place one might find near a railway station in North Italy with good food in a no-fuzz environment. In Italy it probably wouldn't stand out. However, placed in a small corner under the BTS Asok in Sukhumvit it makes for a great little taste of Italy and the place is often very busy so plan accordingly.
We had pizza, pasta and soup, drinks and coffee. All tasty. They have a counter with a great selection of "salumeria" - meats and cheeses. 100 % authentic Italian but it ain't cheap. Recommended.

“Awesome, authentic and delicious”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

We discovered this little hole in the wall after a late night at the movies and were blown away by the absolutely scrumptious pizza. We loved it so much we have returned twice during our visit to Bangkok. The wait staff is extremely friendly and efficient and we felt very welcomed when they remembered us on our return visits. We haven't tried their past yet but everything including the chef is imported from Italy so I'm sure our expectations will be met. This a great change of pace from the Thai hawker street food and very reasonably priced.

“Missing something Italian?”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

A quite good pizza joint with a lot of choice. All ingredients are from Italian origin (which is good). They can improve the pizza dough which sometimes comes out as bread and sometimes it is too hard. In all it is pleasant to eat here.

“One of Bangkok's Best Pizzas”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

This tiny place is conveniently located at Asoke intersection underneath the connection between the BTS and MRT.

All pizza's tried were excellent, particularly the dough which is was in equal parts crunchy and chewy. Toppings are mostly high quality imported varieties, though a little sparingly used. The only downside was that the black olives used were the nasty canned / pitted variety.

There is also an extensive selection of pastas and some more substantial mains and daily specials as well as antipasti. These weren't tried but could take a little long to make as the kitchen is quite small.

It's a tiny place and often packed, though the seating is a bit cheap and uncomfortable, so not a place to linger too long.

If you are in the area, it's certainly worth a trip for lunch.

“just like mamma made”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

If you want true Italian food this place is a gem. The owner is from Naples and most of the products are flown in from Italy including the head chef. This is a busy hole in the wall so if you want fine dining this is not the place for you.
Try and get there before noon otherwise you will be waiting for a table as it is very small.I recommend you get the cold meats and then just a few slices of pizza. Do Not oder a whole Pizza as you have no hope of finishing it
